Agreed, somehow people seem to think we don't need squad players. Carroll's a good one. Personally, if I had to choose between the two (and both were happy with squad player status),I'd have kept Mason around before Tommy, but I ain't the manager, and thank goodness for that.

It has again now he's gone mate! Over in 'La La I'm Over The Rainbow Crazy Land' they seem more interested in the money. It makes no difference if we sold him for 4.5, 8 or 10 million quid, it's fuck all in these big TV money days. It does make all those contract signing pictures seem a bit daft though, signs a four year deal and stays for less than 4 months?

I'm really pleased for Tom, he can get on with his career now, they loved him in Taffland and he will get to play first team football. Good luck Tom.

True mate true. Shame really but Winks emergence left Carroll no choice but to move on. Hope he smashes it at Swansea

Here's some stats for ya mate, I know you lurv Stats! Tom has actually played more Premier League football for Swansea than he has for us!

Tottenham, 25 appearances, 552 minutes
Swansea 13 appearances, 692 minutes

He only played one full 90 minute game in the Premier League for us, that was away to Everton on the 3rd January 2016, he got booked in the 72nd minute and the score was 1-1, Dele scored our equaliser and it was only our own little Azza who scored Everton's goal weren't it?

Stats are great eh? They tell you what has happened, where bookies odds tell you without doubt what will happen, we know this because that clever bloke told us.

Player in Training.
Best of luck Tom, think it'll be a good move for him in the long run. That being said, Swansea need to fix up sharpish or they will be playing with Villa next season.

What a debut for TC!

He (and Siggy) may've left Spurs but they're still playing for us it seems :D

Brilliant winner at Anfield from the 2 ex-Yiddos combining.

WOW! what a start for Tom at the Swans. He was brilliant and their fans must be really pleased with this buy. Involved in nearly every move and opened up play. Did us a big favour.

I've always said I'd have kept him, plays a lovely pass I'mn the shape of Modric, not as good yet, but I could see it, along with Pritchard, he could have been an ideal replacements for Erickson, when he needed a rest.......both better than Sissoko, as is Mason

Give him until January next season, we'll know better then. Might need him in the next few weeks....
