Yeah I did. Those trees seem to be getting a lot of love.

Is there any historical significance to them being planted there because I seem to be missing out on SkyscraperCity arousal.
Or is it simply a case of geeky EEE: Engineering's Essential Erotica

They love a good erection.

Rumour has it Adam bucked eve at each base of these new trees, so it's historical significance I guess.

The rear branch on the tree is about the final height or (just under) of the terracing in the south stand if you look at the plan.

Big difference optics wise when the terracing between east&west stand are joined with the south eh!starting to look more complete.

A couple of weeks old now,but the video shows the shear scale to those who havent been to WHL for a year or so,you can really appreciate how huge this fucker will be/is already, not going to be ready??not for want of trying.

If you go to or watch at least until 2mins,now you can see how massive the south will be 2/3rds height now and already huge, also gives a proper perception of the rake. The last few seconds around the 6th minute mark are the money shots though

Also a one year time lapse, warning around 50secs 100years of history is knocked down in 10 secs !!

Great videos, the time lapse made me feel a bit sad about the old Lane again just when I thought I'd got over it. I suppose I won't get over the old place being gone (no not that old place that one's dead to me) until we are in the new one as Wembley just makes it feel worse, at least we ainb't playing MK this year though.

Great stuff Skiathos. it was interesting at Dortmund last week, where the capacity is 65,000 that the noise inside the stadium was very good. We could easily hear their fans at the other end, but the stadium roof tilted down from back to front. Ours is more 'level' I know the club has done 'sound' research so I hope the new stadium keeps the atmosphere. Also the raking in Germany didn't feel particularly steep - safe standing as well, which helped the atmosphere enormously.

Edit just remembered this

Breaking;incredible news......

They look fine for us well endowed chaps, but blokes with tiny dodgers will be splashing all over the place. Remember what the floors were like at WHL with the old-fashioned urinals - nasty, very nasty, these will be even nastier when a load for drunkended chaps start tinkling everywhere except in the bowls. Whatever you do, do not wear suede shoes or sandals to a match, you should never wear sandals anyway unless you are an imaginary religious figure or a total numpty.

I wanna see the cubicles, not cos i like to have a dump when I am there, but see what sort of privacy you get when you`re on the chang

Probably flushless and waterless. Dirty hippies!

I must say that the spacing is quite generous. Hopefully Levy springs for some nice toilet fresheners. :)

Doubt Levy will be splashing out too much on us mere mortals.

I was gonna comment on the lack of a reasonable target area. These put a lot of faith in a fella's aim. Shoulda just built a wall-to-wall trough that goes to the floor just to be safe.
