2 holding midfielders at home...

All because that fat piece of shit doesn't like hard work...

Dock his fucking wages the lard arse cunt...

We need a playmaker in there, especially at home. Why can't GLC do it...? I thought that was his bag...? What about this Gill chappy...?

Come on Santa I want to be entertained.

errrr, OK, we won. That's 3 games we have won one nil, the City game was good, the other two we got lucky. Improvement is needed, if Watford hadn't sent all of their attempts into row Z we might have been in real bother, It's great we are top and the Goons are bottom, but it only counts after 38 games.

Well I'll see you all in the Champions League next year as I've now declared the season finished with us as Champions and The Scum relegated on zero points 😂

This is Jose lite.

Garbage watch. Need creativity in midfield.

3 games, 9 points, 3 clean sheets.....but I'm still not that impressed. Is there something wrong with me ?

I think we're getting away with it more than forcing the issue if that makes sense. I have to be honest, but when Harry announced he was staying I wasn't doing cartwheels...why ? Because, although the bloke's a legend and we owe him nothing, he'd be gone if he had the choice...not that I'd blame him. Lucas was dropped today. He's been fucking brilliant so far, aggressive, direct and makes things happen but because Harry has had to come back with his tail between his legs after Levy stood his ground, Lucas gets cast aside. What will that do for his confidence ? And what about Son ? Off the record, will he be happy about it ??

I dont want to be a glass half empty fan here, cos I'd prefer Nuno to the cunt all day long...I'm just not getting a warm fuzzy feeling. I just hope there isn't unrest or awkwardness in the dressing room.

But look, we're top, and they're bottom...so yay.

No mate, nothing wrong with you. I have been extremely underwhelmed with our performances, not even remotely whelmed. Lucas was the only one who really bothered Watford, a freaky. flukey free kick goal won it, and it was fucking embarrassing seeing us trying to hold the ball in the corner at the end of the game when we were playing Watford at home. I suppose it's going to take time for Nuno to purge the Jose out out of the players, maybe he won't be up to the job, I hope he will and we will start to see some classy old-school Spurs performances in the weeks to come. At the moment it's dull as fuck and I am not jumping for joy, even though we are top and they are bottom. Early days and if these lucky wins help us at the end of the season then that will be triffic, there's nothing wrong with winning a few ugly games 1-0, but ...

Being top will not help the loosening of any purse strings... it will justify burning said purse and buying of a new Yacht...

We desperately need a CM who can change a game or even effect the game. I don't even know if that player is available especially as the window is about to be slammed shut and seasons have started.

I said this elsewhere that the warm and fuzzies from H simply don't exist right now... if i can tell that from the TV, I'm sure as shit that it's frosty as a mother fucker in that dressing room...

He is supposed to be our captain and a driving force in leading us to glory... not seen that yet.

I didn't want him to go, I'm glad he stayed but this also doesn't seem right either.

Hopefully he needs to get his shit together, suck it up and realise that if he wants to go next year that he must continue to perform at the highest level to achieve that...

Top of the league (while scum are bottom),unbeaten and unscored against... and I'm still not happy... thats proper Spursy...!!!

How the fuck did that big monster Sissoko not get a red card for that vicious assault on poor little Nuno? A deliberate, calculated attempt on the life of our beloved Santa (NAC) Claus, just because Nuno did not want the big lump in our squad and got him sold to Watford for 27p and a packet of chips - he blasts the ball at Nuno, I hope he recovers and is not traumatised by this assault! #PrayForNuno

That was one of the two entertaining moments n the match for me, the other one was Sonny's goal. Everybody including their keeper thought one of our chaps would attack the cross, nobody did, and in it popped, very entertaining.

It's not pretty at the moment, let's be honest, but I'd rather be posting 1-0 wins while the players get to grips with how Santa wants them to play than the reverse.

He's obviously done some Christmas magic on Dier and Sanchez for starters as they look almost competent at the moment. Same with Bergwijn. At the moment, he's looking like a different player than last season.

I do agree that we need a creative midfielder like GLC (Gemma Louise Collins ? 🤣🤣) to complement Hojbjerg. Skipp does a good job of keeping the ball moving by getting it and giving it to someone else, but then Winks did that a lot as well.

I'd want to see Son, Lo Celso and Gil behind Kane personally. That could have some potential for some flair and goals.

But fuck it all anyway, we're top and they're bottom ..

Bergwin works his ass off, gets into great positions, but might have the worst end product of anyone. Ever. He's who you bring on to close out a game, but certainly shouldn't start over Moura or Gil unless they're both crippled. Basically we are the same as under Mourinho but Nuno isn't a cunt so the mood is better and things break our way. Would love if we went back in for McKennie an Emerson because we really nee a box-to-box midfileder (well, we really need Modric but it aint't hapening) and a true RB. Tanganga is doing a good job but he has no attacking threat. Would also be nice to see Romero and GLC. Where the hell are these guys? And just lol at the scum. Top of the table, but it feels a bit mid-table.

Hjojberg - same honest effort as every match. 7
Dele - solid, should have scored. 6
Son - well taken free kick into a dangerous spot, otherwise average. 6
Kane - a rather flat performance. 5

Agree with all of this. I guess one thing I will say is that it's difficult to work out exactly how Santa wants them to play, but that was true under the last prick as well--remember how open his first few games in charge were? Watford defended so deep for much of this game that most teams would've struggled to break them down, and as you say, we very much needed a playmaker in midfield. IMO Hojbjerg is a little more direct in his passing that what we saw last season, but that's not enough.

Keep saying it... you've got a forward line that has 20 goals a piece.... get them the fucking ball in the right areas and it's game set and match.

Kane, Son, Moura/Bergwine, Ali, that's 50/60 goals right there... thats winning a shitboat load of games without even thinking about defending...

SPEND THE FUCKING MONEY MR BUYRIGHT.....!!!!!

It's all going quite well isn't it. The Mourinho nightmare memory is fading, it might not even been true. What a total cunt that bloke is.

ComPLETEly off topic, I hated having him as our manager, but I bet Mourinho would be brilliant to go out on the piss with. So I started thinking about which of our ex managers would be the best value on a night out. I think 'Arry and El Tel are must haves, who else would you bring along?

BMJ - first pick

BMJ for me as well.
But it depends on what you're looking for. I'll go contrarian and say Sherwood. As terrible a manager as he was, I bet he'd would make for a memorable evening. Might not be all that much fun, but his chirp chirp chirping would almost certainly result in a melee of some sort. Different kind of fun from a regular piss-up, but you'd have a great story to recount on the other nights.

BMJ for me too, He'd be playing darts with Sherwood, Arry and Venables... Gross would be sitting in the corner doing a crossword...he'll get the tube home....obviously. Gerry Francis would be on the door and George Graham would be the Dartboard.

Sherwood would get glassed within an hour. AVB would be the DD and drive him to the hospital. Could have gone with Pleat but he drives too slowly.

You always want someone to take the piss out of... usually the lad who is cocky as fuck because they once fingerbanged a cheerleader or scored a flukey free kick and has lived off of it since.

Sherwood fits that bill perfectly...!!!

Or say tonight wasn't much fun, but next week will be.
As for AVB as DD, that makes sense, but I think 'Arry's teetotal as well, so he'd be sitting in the passenger seat telling him how to get there. Or, failing that, to just drive around a bit.
