Ive decided (or it was decided for me) to go to the Nashville game against Citeh. Eight hours in the car with the family, eye-watering amount of money spent, probably 95 degrees Fahrenheit. I may be responsible for the first serious football-related violence in this country when it's all said and done.

Well the boys are beside themselves about going, especially my youngest, who lives and breathes Spurs and football in general. Hopefully we can get in the open training session, and there is a meet and greet at a local bar with Ledley (who seems to be everywhere these days). And Nashville itself is a pretty good town. It's really just the game itself, and the drive, that I'm not all that enthusiastic about. I'm really hoping to be able to make it to the first season in the new stadium with the kids, but until then, this is about the best I can do...

Don't know if any of you were able to stay up for the 4-2 win over PSG, but pretty entertaining stuff. Defensively all over the shop at times, especially CCV and KWP, but nothing you wouldn't expect from youngsters in the preseason. Really like the looks of Tashan Oakley-Booth among the young'uns. Absolute stunner from Eriksen and Toby had a nice one too.

Against quality strikers,no shame here for the kids, just an education.Good for morale but so many changes in a PR exercise isnt an indication whether we won or lost.Fun to watch, hope nashville is as entertaining for you.
Mauricio: "For us it's about trying to get fit, but I am very satisfied with the performance. Winning is a good habit."

I missed the game as drank the bottle of rum a bit quick and fell asleep on the sofa. Great goals from Eriksen and Toby but a bit lucky the opposition keeper flapping about for the other goals and getting a red.

While we were out of sorts in the back for both goals (against top strikers as skia says),our high press was devastating, they couldn't cope with it. Eric's goal was not the first time they panicked in possession. Onomah ran his socks off and turned them over multiple times. I couldn't care less about the result for obvious reasons, but our players looked hungry, and not just those trying to win a starting spot.

Every win is a good win...who knows we might get them in the CL, will be obviously different if we do, but this is all good. Well done lads.

If anyone wants a connection. I went into Apps and downloaded MediaLivePlayer, took a couple of minutes, then in right hand box, just put in Football, then it'll list several channels and go to channel 42 , it's quite a good stream English commentary

Seemed pretty positive....never a pen against us and was a pen for tackle on Kane...

Penalties taken like Perroti did must give keepers rage when they go in.

Nice one from Vincent from Nkoudou's cross too, but hated to give away the winner right after. I was impressed with the youngster Giorgiou on the left. We were far the better team in the second half and the refereeing as you suggest was a travesty, and not just for those two calls.

Not least blatant push for the winner!
I guess all the bedwetters wont have noticed that KWP,Winks and Georgiou did well as they scream for signings.Yes we could sign some players, but immediatly first choice?if those 3 can hold up their end, with lamela and winks back alongside rose, the squad looks a bit deeper,if CCV and Wimmer dont step up then a CB would be a nice addition.

Dele looked off,Kane when he got going a threat and mousa def shooting more, two good efforts hitting the bar and narrowly deflected wide.Like PSG result doesnt matter, better performance in many ways, both games the press has looked very well organised, which is what our game is built on right or wrongly.Add our 1st choice back 5,normal midfield with Kane, looks like we could hit the ground running hopefully.

I thought CCV looked better last night than he did in the PSG game, but he's not ready for PL, especially not full-time. Needs a loan IMO. Agree about Dele, and also Dier looks off to me, especially with distribution. I hope Giorgiou gets a run out on Saturday, he ticks all the boxes of a player that can play for Poch--strong, willing runner, takes players on, and he's English too. Winks doesn't look rusty at all after the injury, so you're right, I'm personally not shitting myself over signings. Also nice to see some of the players getting stuck in with some challenges. I don't think Poch will be happy with five goals conceded in our first two friendlies though, I don't care who's playing.
