which is fine, for some of the time........I'm not slagging any manager off compared with the one we've got. Ok just two, Alladyce and Pulis, but no-one else.....
I like the way you've edited my quote there... But I dont agree that he's a counter attacking manager. He plays that way with Leicester because that's the style of play alot of those players are comfortable with and have been very successful at. But he wasn't counter attacking at Liverpool or before that at Swansea. They were teams both very much on the front foot from the whistle.
I think Rodgers has proved he can adapt to playing whatever way he thinks his players can be most effective at. Look, these rumours are rumours, nothing more I'm sure but I cant think of a better manager who's proved himself in this league and would be within our budget...ie: What Levy can afford after his cheque to JM has cleared.

I take everything Alasdair Gold says with a healthy cement mixer full of salt. The guy is a Levy stooge and only ever spins the rhetoric to make the Establishment look good.

Stevie fucking Wonder can see that there are massive issues between the cunt manager and his minions.

I agree with you, but not in this instance. Son said it, Alasdair relayed it.

Would Rogers even see Spurs as a step up from Leicester?

I think if he looks at the training ground and facilities, the Stadium, the history and titles, then yes he would. If he looked at the Chairman, the board, their broken managerial promises or the Premier League table.....possibly not.

Was going to say Leicester's at the end of a cycle (because Vardy, natch),but again, maybe we're no better.

Rodgers would be one of the best replacements for us. Organises his team's well and seems to get massive respect from his players as Poch did.

He's Norn Irish to. Makes him a top bloke in my book!

He has put together a good team at Leicester though and their chairman is brilliant.

Sign him, bring across Harvey Barnes and Soyunci. Excellent!!

Can I add Dyche to that list?

Oh, and we're never getting Nagelsmann by the way.

After last night's humiliation the Cuntish One is even money favourite to be the next PL manager sacked.

It's not enough to just get rid of Moron-io, ENIC needs to go, fuck off, sell the club to someone who is more interested in football than property portfolios, Lady fucking Gaga concerts, NHL, long bars and all the nonsense I don't give a fuck about. We need a manager who is allowed to manage the fucking team, not a coach who tries to do what he can with Levy signings.

Pochettino failed because of lack of investment and Levy football genius signings (and lack of signings),Moron-io is failing because he is a dinosaur cunt. We can keep on hiring and firing managers for fucking ever but it will make no difference.

I will be really surprised if we manage to hold onto Harry Kane this summer, Sonny will probably go as well, without those two we are an even more mediocre team. Toby is finished, Lloris, Dier, Davies, Doherty, Sanchez, Sissoko, Winks, Dele, Bergwijn and Aurier are all not good enough for a top four side. So that leaves us with Lo Celso, Reguillon, Rodon, Hojberg and probably Tanganga. Lucas is OK but inconsistent and Lamella would never last a season without injury. Sid is on loan and might as well go back to Benfica and Bale will probably want to play golf next season.

We are totally fucked.

And this IMO isnt a stretch on it...

It's the cold hard facts that a couple of talented players have been holding this shit together for a few seasons... we've had some fucking huge slices of luck too, but for me, time has come for this dynasty to fall.

I'm almost not bothered about loosing Kane/Son/N’Dombele/Hoijberg, I'm almost resigned to the fact that we will sell because they don't want to play here anymore and who can blame them.

I just want to be able to enjoy watching Spurs again.

As a fan, I have the right to criticize the players for not performing to their full potential or showing poor attitude, and many of them deserve that criticism.

Mourinho, as manager, has no such right - it’s your fucking job to fix their attitude.

Sit down Mourinho - we’ve all had enough.

My thoughts exactly. There are so many teams I enjoy watching more than us right now, and that hurts.

Over here, the games come on at inconvenient times during the week (i.e. during work/school hours) and often very early in the mornings on weekends. So they're kind of events, things we make a point of doing together as a family. I'd get the boys out of school early for a CL game, or get up and have breakfast on Saturday/Sunday morning and watch us in the PL.

Both my boys are good players themselves and when they had weekend games at the same time as Spurs, we'd either shut off our phones so as not to see the result, or they'd look at me during the games for a thumbs up/down, or for an indication of the score. Either way, it was less than two years ago that the games were things to be looked forward to, something you moved other events around to make room for, and something to get worked up about. I mean, we have lots of other things going on in our lives, but this was fun. Now, it's hard to give a fuck, and I hate it.

The thing is, I don't think I am a glory hunter... fuck me, I support Spurs it's not like I'm being spoiled every fucking season, but I do want to be entertained and that's why I supported spurs...

Lineker, Gaza, Ginola, Berbatov, Modric, Bale (old),Eriksen, Kane, Son..... exciting players who do exciting things attracted me to this club. It got under my skin and into my blood.

The shite football being served to us by that Cunt was done so on the proviso that it yielded results and ultimately honours.

IT HAS FAILED.

Give me back my Spurs and get this boring dinosaur cunt out of my club.

A league cup regardless of how it may (or may not) be won, will not make up for the abhorrent football it will have taken to win it.

Very much in agreement @Yid

There are different reasons why people support teams. For many, it's because it is their local club.

That's not the case for me. I'm halfway around the world from N17. I was drawn in because of the way they played & this was the late 70's with a young Hoddle. There was skill, passion, resolve mixed in with a great deal of confidence & flair. But most importantly, they had a consistent vision of how to play. And as Yid said, they entertained. I loved how we played. I'd much rather win 5-4 than 1 nil (even though there are merits in the latter) because there was so much more in those games. We got it back with Poch & he gave us the best of both worlds (offence & defence) & almost took us to the top of club football. We didn't win every game but I always felt we could no matter who we were up against. It was a delight to watch & I did so with a lot of anticipation.

FFS, we only have a limited time on this earth. We get one shot at living it well, & lately more & more I find myself finding better things to do to be entertained.

Pochettino went out and tried to win every time.

This cunt’s sole aim is not to lose.

Pochettino took responsibility for our poor performances.

This cunt throws his players under the bus.

Pochettino has class and treats people with dignity.

This cunt is a classless, arrogant misogynist.

What the fuck has Levy done?

ENIC needs to go because of 2 reasons, The first being what has already been mentioned in this thread.

The second being we cannot compete in the league, cups or transfer market without owners who are on par with the owners of United, City, Chelsea etc.

If we want to be considered one of the elites of Europe we need to sell our soul...for me, it’s the only way to guarantee consistent success. Not the occasional moment.

oh, and Nagelsman is the one.

The real problem with Levy is two fold.......1. He invests in value for ENIC property mostly, not players. As long as we stay in and around Europe with the income and exposure it brings it fits his business plan. Winning stuff is just a vanity project, this came across time and again in the boardroom meetings (which were staged managed anyway) .
2. He got very lucky with Poch, a group of players and CL, when called upon to improve by investing properly in the squad he showed his true colours and let Poch down (disgrace),now he's witnessing what leicester are achieving it reinforces his view that you don't have to invest like City or Chelsea, you have to find players like Maddison and a manager like Rodgers.

And round and round we go. We're stuck with ENIC and Levy until someone makes an offer they can't refuse.....that may be some time.

Can't disagree with any of this, but especially the point about Poch. Lest we forget, the great man was his second choice, behind Van Gaal. So yeah, absolutely lucked out.

I would question the word Important! He is implying his tactics are current, and I would have issue with this too.
It's also a terrible analogy: if the rockets are blowing up on the launch pad, or (maybe more apt for a Spurs comparison) just fail to ignite, you'd better believe people will question whether the rocket scientists are wasting all that money...
