Daniel Levy everyone. I've said it before and I'll say it again, if Messi was offered to us for £20 quid, we'd offer £10 with £5 in bonuses.

The Kane situation is fascinating in a weird way. We've often seen players in the past announce their intentions to leave and eventually force a move away, but few are in the same world class bracket as Kane is.

The money being talked about is such that only one or two clubs would ever pay it, and one of them is likely to pay it for someone else, so Kane will basically have nowhere to go.

Didn't PSG essentially give Neymar the money to pay his own release clause to Barcelona to make the transfer happen?. Could that happen with Kane maybe?

Is it sad or is it principle?

If he genuinely believes he’s got a “handshake agreement” with Levy then should be stick to his guns or just suck it up and accept his boss is a cunt?

I’m getting a bit sick of players signing long term contracts that they have no intention of honouring.

gentleman‘s agreement works both ways right?

shocking behaviour by any player, but Berbatov, Bale and Modric all did the same. this is where I do like Levy, takes no shit regardless on who you are.

Turn that around though and go into the alernate reality where Levy backs Poch 100% when he called for the "painful rebuild" and we continue the upward trajectory to actually winning things. For me, Kane signs another six year deal and stays until he retires.

Back in reality after Poch is sacked, then The Cunt, Kane is likely thinking he's right back to square one again and it's yet another "transition" year for the club. Again.

I've said it before but I'd love him to stay and keep knocking in 20-30 goals a season for us, but I also think it would be a crying shame if he finished his career with no domestic honours.

Agree, but at the end of the day, Kane should be turning up for training. He's under contract and is being paid a huge salary by the club. In these situations (if it is true) the players in question should be immediately suspended WITHOUT PAY....end of.
Levy maybe right to dig his heels in, but, every single time he did it in the past, there was one loser...the club. Ending up, paying big wages to players that arnt putting the effort in. What's the point ?!? The big issue here is the ridiculous amount of power players have these days...holding their employers to ransom every time. Not right imo. For me It should be the other way around. But regardless, I hope Kane does his duty for us until he gets his deserved move. I won't hold it against him, but if he starts this shite he'll do himself no favours...

I'm fine with players being more empowered, especially as short as their careers are, and given who the vultures are that actually run these clubs. Still, Kane didn't have to sign a long-term contract, and he did. And I have to say, if he honestly thought he or his brother actually thought they had a "gentlemen's agreement" with Daniel Levy, they're thick as pig shit. They literally only had to google "Daniel Levy" and "Gentlemen's agreement."

In any case, I strongly suspect nobody at the club was surprised when he didn't turn up this morning.

I think I'll wait and see what the whole story is because - and this may come as a shock to you - the media print bollocks. H may have overslept or forgot to set his alarm or had an issue with his family which is more important that football or ...... anything really.

All true and I agree.

But you don’t down tools. It’s fucking deplorable behaviour.

Yeah, after the ratfishboy saga I vowed to not waste precious life energy on this shit. Can't say I've been 100% successful, but whether or not Harry Kane went to work this morning is hard for me to get too upset about right now. Actually, I didn't go to work either.

I woke up very late with a horrible Ouzo hangover this morning and stumbled out of the house. Someone I didn't know was crashed out on the couch. I can't be certain, but it might well be Harry. Let's see if he turns up to work tomorrow.

Nah, no its not.

You boss treats you like a cunt... You pull a sickie and update your Indeed resume...!

If Kane want to be somewhere else then that's fine... he has done a fucking great service to this club and it, no, Levy is not meeting his end of the bargain by giving him the supporting cast members to win things.

This is Karma on Levy.... and he deserves every last fucking bit of it the cunt.
