All those silly, young Woolwich fans who go on and on about the "beautiful football their team is known for" ought to watch this game and see what Woolwich are really all about.

Foul and hoofball.

Was at the final but remember this game like it was yesterday. Samways was superb and Gazza...Gazza was Gazza. One of the all time great cup moments.

I remember the quater final game but the final is more memorable for me.

Simply because I was too young to hate the scum at that age. I knew I loved gazza and Lineker was my hero form the 1990 WC. It was those two who made me a YID.

Final vs Forrest my dad's team, who he wanted me to follow. I knew I loved gazza and he was playing and I knew my pals were all gutted because Spurs knocked their team out of the cup (never went with the masses). Think Lineker was already in Spain at that point not sure. Either way remember Gazzas horror tackle and the Des Walker their rock scoring our winner for us and my old man being crushed while I jumped for joy... he was fucking livid and that right there is where it all began... I was 100% a glory hunter. I had an established fan boy style interest but the cup win and the fact my pals hated spurs as they where all scum fans sealed my fate.

Quarter final being against Notts County at the Lane?

Both bitter and sweet for me. The match was obviously brilliant but...

One of the few Wembley matches where they split almost all the tickets between both sets of fans without the corporate and FA afflicted allocations being imposed in the final and in the days before club Wembley.

Woolwich couldn't sell there 40k allocation so they went on general sale in the Spurs ticket office.

After queueing for 5 hours starting on paxton road and slowly making my way down past the shelf and the middle of the park lane end to the ticket office I was within pissing distance of getting a ticket before the sold out sign came out. Gutted.

Shame Arsenal are so shit these days, we could have had a reunion in this year's final. Not likely they'll get through though.

Have to make it a 81 reunion instead.
