Sounds like you're having a lovely time! It's proper sticky today, we're level with Mallorca, a bit of sea between us but the weather's the same. First time this year we've turned the fans on. - humid as fuck, I went out at 5.30 this morning on my bike and I've stayed indoors since I got back at 10 o 'clock.
I like cycling, but not when it's 40 degrees, went out yesterday about 5 o'clock in the morning, did 65kms and back in time for breakfast, nice and cool, no cars just a lot of countryside. Perfect.

I went out yesterday early doors too and was back by 10:30... 30'ish miles was more than enough and it was crawling with cunts in cars by the time I was finishing up...

I've written today and tomorrow off and am simply going to try and survive... unless this or tomorrow evening cools off enough for a bit of twilight phys...

How the fuck do athlete in the UAE or Oz do it...? They can't do everything indoors they must have to brave this fucking ludicrous weather and way way more consistently...? Maybe that's why they're so good. They can manage that heat and can train and compete in it so when it's milder they are on fire...?

Fuck knows, all I know is my pasty fat arse hasn't stopped sweating since I got out of the shower this morning and it's only 35...

Summers are always hot as hell in my home in Upper Mexico (aka the US South). Average of 30+ C and high humidity this time of year. When heat waves hit, they're like what you lot are experiencing right now, except literally everyone with means has air conditioning--maybe things have changed, but the last time I spent any time in the summer in England, that was very much not the case.

Speaking of athletes training, my son was training last week on an artificial pitch, and the temps were well above 40 C "real feel," as they say. It definitely helps get you fitter, faster, but it's dangerous. Every year there are stories about kids dying of heat stroke, especially in American football training, which always starts in July as they play in the fall.

Above all else, eat well, take lots of breaks and drink the fuck out of water before, after, and during.

In Las Vegas & really had no desire to go see Real play Barca.
Plenty here felt otherwise.

I just have a great deal of anticipation for Spurs' new season.
So much to look forward to.

Nice work out against Rangers, The holy trinity of Son, Kane & Kulu looked great, most of the subs not sure yet.....if we'd taken a few more chances could have been 5-2. Off to Israel we go then......couple of decent fixtures, one against Mourinho. Fuck off Jose........you have? Well fuck off much farther then.......

It's not fair!

We visited the local tax office yesterday, anyone who has not lived in Spain had probably never visited a tax office, I never had before we moved here. There is SO much paperwork and boorockrassy here it seems you have to go to a different feds office every five minutes. To get any sort of registration or talk to the tax buggers you have to go the local Ayuntamiento (town hall) and get an up to date copy of your Padron certificate that proves you live in your house. Then you go to the national police, SUMA ( tax administration office) or Hacienda (another fecking tax office). If you have your NIE (Foreign Identity Number) certificate, your TIE (Spanish Residency Card),Passport, Padron certificate, Escritura compra (copy of the thing you got from the notary when you bought your house) then they will tell you they need an up to date marriage certificate less than 3 months old and everything has to be translated into Spanish by a feds approved translator even if your lawyer has done the translations! Farking blimey! OK, that was the cops down in Torrivieja when we applied for our first residency, they were not nice. The local feds are very nice and the tax office is never busy.

Why am I ranting about it not being fair? Our visit yesterday was to take a letter we received addressed to the previous owner. We were a bit concerned because any debts, unpaid taxes, fines etc. stay with the house, so we would have to pay. But, this letter was telling the previous owner that they owed him money and wanted to pay him back. Hold the fecking bus! If he owes them money we have to pay it but if they owe him money then we don't get the wedge! Barstewrads!

An another thing... this heatwave is getting boring now. I used to like getting up early int the morning and going for a ride on my bike in the cool air. At 5.30 this morning It was 30 fucking degrees C with a humidity of fucking loads ( 95%, so fuck that, I'm staying inside in the airconditioned comfort.

I still love living in Spain, but I do enjoy carrying on with the famous British pastime of whingeing about everything and anything, that reminds me, it's fucking fiesta season and the night before last I was woken up at fucking midnight by the loudest fireworks I have ever heard, it went on for hours. We live in a very small village that makes a very big noise when the fiestas are happening. 3 people killed so far in the Valencian community this year, one just up the road from us, in the very mental, 'Running of the Bulls'. Oh dear, no ta, running in front of a load of very umpty bulls to show how brave you are? Mad as fuck.

I've done that.... You near Pamplona? I can confirm it is utterly fucking bonkers. The most adrenaline fuled thing I have ever done...!

We didn't go to the bull ring... I'm way not into that. Year we was there it was the deadliest for over 60 years or some shit like that... 4 people had died at the point we did our run... 1 bull jumped the barriers in the bullring and flat out headbutted a chap to death...

The festival of San Fermin was a party like no fucking other... everywhere was rammed and it simply didn't stop. Me and my pals eventually crashed out on a roundabout in the middle of the city in the early hours dressed in our "whites" stained to shit with all the booze we'd chucked over ourselves in our drunken stupours and woke to the morning rush hour trafic circling us...

Them Spaniels know how to have a proper shin dig...

All power to the Bulls.....tough shit if you get gorged
Yeah,I don't get it. I don't complain cos I live in their country but I don't go to the bullfights or the runnings. They even have kiddy 'bull running' where 6 year olds can get chased by heifers, mad as fuck. I do like the idea of the tomato lobbing festivals, apart from the waste of food, I am not keen on that and I expect you Brexitania prisoners will soon forgot what a tomato is when we stop sending you ours.

I am getting really fucked off with this week's festivals, every fucking night until 4am, then this morning because it's Saint Wossiface's day the fireworks started at 7am! The first year I enjoyed the parades, drummers and stuff, but when you've been to one they're all pretty much the same - and I go to bed at 10pm, which is the time the Spaniels start getting ready to go out.

... our village festival has ended, but the next village over has started theirs. They are only 1km away so we can enjoy their fireworks going off all night, all the drummers in the parades and the fucking bulls if they escape! The local feds have issued a weather warning for the weekend, it's going from 'scorchio' to 'instant death if you leave your house' hot. Lidl's ran out of my favourite beer one day last week and the fucking tourists and holiday home fuckers are buying all the fucking ice cream. To top it all off we have fucking visitors arriving on Sunday - with two fucking children I hate fucking children, they are nasty dirty little fuckers. Viva españa!

But really, it's nice living here - I can keep up with my hobbies - moaning about the weather and other people while enjoying all the Brexit benefits we got by fucking off before they closed the gates.

Here's something I'm mildly annoyed about today. Why did Richarlison get pelters for his little act against Forest, and this guy doesn't even get a mention? What is the difference between keepy-uppys and whatever this is?

Hell, all I can do in +40 is sit under a cold shower! And they're still working out. It's really dangerous!

Can’t wait to be able to pay my heating bill in a house I cannot afford the mortgage on…..thank you Liz
Yep, I can't wait for my pittance of a pension that I should be getting next month be eroded to slightly more than fuck-all euros. Some cunt even told me last week that I shouldn't get a pension because I wasn't paying anything into the system. Cunt. I started paying National Insurance 51 fucking years ago and fuck knows how much tax I have paid. There was no such thing as private pensions when I was alive, even if there was there was fuck all left at the end of every month after paying a fucking mortgage, feeding and clothing kids etc. We managed. I feel so sorry for young people (and not so young) people these days. It was almost impossible under Cameron, May and Johnson now this evil fucking woman has made it actually impossible for anyone who is not earning at least £50k a year to even dream about buying a house or to get a decent system that looks after their health or to feed themselves well. The cunts are just trying to plunder as much out of the country before they get kicked out in two years.
