Seen him described as a "ferryman," with a specialty of getting clubs across the line without being relegated. If he does that at Spurs, and then moves on to his next project, top man in my book. What concerns me is that he seems to have a high-intensity approach, and we don't have the squad to play that way.

If he succeeds in keeping us up & going a little deeper into the CL knockouts, I'd keep him around as an assistant to whomever permanently comes in next. This group needs some Slav authoritarianism.

A few people were focusing on his permanent managerial record as not being that impressive, which it clearly wasn't, but he's far more effective as a fixer when you look at the stats.

I guess he's got a free hit next weekend as very few will be expecting us to win the NLD.

Agree that it's a free hit but also throw in the fact that Arse have little idea of what form of Spurs is going to greet them.
Hopefully we provide a few surprises.

More faith in him daring to do so than the club higher ups.
Yeah. Thanks to their (in)actions, the ball is pretty much entirely in his court. With no window, there is nothing they can do except hope that nobody else gets hurt, that the injured players we do have return, and that he can get a tune out of them and get a few results.

32 days after he was appointed, John Heitinga has now left the club.

For me, that tends to confirm the gossip that Vinai and/or Lange had no intention of sacking Frank until they were told to.

Nope... No free hit against them...

Balls to the fucking wall is the absolute minimum...

Honestly, the entire fucking club stinks of ineptitude.

That's pretty much how a 3-4-2-1 functions on paper. The problem with a back three is that we don't have three central defenders. We also don't have two natural number 10s (hard to see how Kolo Muani, who was playing there in the video, could play the position in the PL) and are very thin in terms of wingback candidates. It will be interesting to see how he tries to resolve this--he kind of hinted that he might be doing something different in the short term in the club interview.
