Well one week to go and I see all over the planet via the great internet people melting down over our activity (lack of/lateness) or like myself, many simply not arsed because it seems that there is no cause for alarm here.
I find it hard to accept people watching on stolen streams or even paying a tv subscription,or have a membership or even a season ticket have the right to demand we spend £40m on so and so,or give eriksen 150k,but thats just me.

So three options about our transfer policy ATM
A)Are we being unambitious,by not expanding on what we have done/achieved by not lashing out millions?
B)Is it right to be financially prudent these years with NWHL being built?
C)Is Levy and uncle Joe snidely trousering money as a return on investment?,

All the current chatter with a week to go is in order of likelyhood, yedlin to go (5m),bentaleb to go (15m) mason to go (+8m) Chadli to go (+10m),Son to go (+17m) Njie to go in swap with Nkomin48hrsdo.
Well it looks a bit like a clearance sale, but is it?None of the aforementioned would be in most peoples starting XI and could net +£55m in sales,we have already moved fazio out and got minor amounts for Ball and Ward and sold Pritchard.
We spent well on wanyama and Janssen, anymore through the door??well lets go for the full meltdown,,business is done except pruning the wage bill.Yedlin wasnt here last year so never been part of our matchday,on top of which we have walker-peters and Carter-vickers ready to join the squad soon.Bentaleb and mason, hardly figured last season, wanyama has replaced one and Winks has come through,on top of which we still have carroll not playing regularily as cover.Lets say Levy goes full kerchinnnnng and sells both chadli and son, neither are starters but first off the bench, for us,onomah and edwards coming through and either Njie to stay after missing 90% of last season (would ineffect feel like a new signing) or Nkonsigninin48hrs to come in to the squad. And then we have the bonus of a 2nd true striker this season in Janssen, and Harrison looking capable as 3rd choice, but lets hope no one gets injured too soon or too long!

That brings the real debate, should we be buying, here and now a few top quality players?and if so who?? bearing in mind we dont spend anything over £15m wisely...ever....and Levy is not going to rock the boat by paying over 100k in wages.Perhaps Mitchell looked at it like this and thought "job done" because unless Levy pulls another VDV out of his arse (it was a magnificent signing daniel) I dont see who or why we need to spend big bucks,we have a settled quality first 13/14 players, excellent prospects in 5 or 6 of the kids from winks to edwards, and very adequate bench players in davies, trippier, vorm.

Obviously 5 serious injuries,or finishing below 6th and blowing out of all the cups would look like we missed the boat this window, but I believe our policy this year is sound.Poch is moving on people who wont progress with us,thats the reality, and I like that he doesnt want to hold up their careers or block the path of the academy`s rising stars. After all we achieved last season the core of this group deserves the chance to take their chance and for me buying Gotze, zlatan or any of the other big names sold this year just doesnt in the cold light of this mid-august day seem necessary, unless you purely want to troll city, utd, chelsea fans with we signed blah blah blah..

Anyway how does anyone else feel about it?
If Levy does bring in +£55m as predicted I guess he will treat Poch to someone special, thing is will Poch agree to take them!!!

I would just like to say that I think Levy is a mangina. I have always thought Levy is a mangina. I will probably always think Levy is a mangina.

The money is being trousered either directly or indirectly by using it to finance the new stadium which will be worth well over 200 quid, so when the two evil manginas sell up they will be rolling in dosh from the stadium and the increased value of all the local property they bought up even though it wasn't actually needed. When N17 becomes the Greenwich of the North, they will be so minted that Joe will probably just sink his current yacht when he upgrades rather than faff around selling the old one. They will wipe their bottoms with panda cubs and eat the swans that the Queen sold to them for thousands of quids, they will wear coats made from unicorn skin and live in palaces made from diamonds.

I am totally happy with our squad, another striker would be OK and we could probably do with some midfield cover if all the outgoings happen, but, I don't think Levy deserves any credit for this. We have been massively lucky. OK the chaps coming through the academy could be cited as a plus for the evil old mangina, The signings he has made have turned out for the most part to be good*. This was pure luck. They could have been Torresses. Getting Pochettino was probably a masterstroke - but the only reason the tight fucker did that was because he knew there was a chance that Mopo could build a good team with very little wedge.

*You could say that Son, Njie, Fazio, Chadli were not that great I wouldn't but you could. Obviously Bobby was a disappointment. But, Dier, Erikksen, Toby, Wimmer, Dele, Ben, Hugo and Kieran were pucker signings, and Vorm as well, None of these players cost a lot so Levy will be smirking and jazzing over a big pile of 50 pound notes.

What was my point? Dunno, I have forgotten - oh yeah Levy is a mangina.

If they all leave..... we are thin on the ground.

We need something to complete this side. I think we need someone with that spark who can ignite a game. A spursy player. A ginola, a gazza, a vdv.

Get that and the confidence will start to flow through the squad and we will start to see how the new lads have settled into what was already a great squad.

The lads we have got seem like great fits already and we need that philosophy to continue.

None of those mentioned for sale are shit players. Bentaleb will with the right conditions become a great player. Not a Poch player but I think we could have another KPB scenario on our hands with him. Mason could still come off the bench and perform for us at a push. Chadlington did well considering how little time he got last season as did son. Njie is still unproven no one can judge him a flop or success...!!!

I'd like to see us buy something for midfield that can change games with a pass. I'm thinking serious competition for Ericsson. I think he needs that to keep him progressing.

I'm sure there are loads of FM experts who can tell me who this player is. I have zero idea.

You can only judge the cunt on what we see. We don't know if haggling over pennies actually happens.

What we can see is the fruits of his and the clubs work in churning out player after player for at the very minimum a few quids worth of profit.

The Bentaleb's, Yedlins, etc all add up and alow us to keep the garage train going.

Our business model is pure fcuking genius. We pick up players for relative peanuts and if they work..... fcuking result, if they don't. We blood them as seasoned Premier league players loan them about for exposure and then flog them for at the very mind what we paid if nt a nice sick of profit. We don't pay them exorbitant wages and if they are on loan we dint pay any of their wages...

I'd like to see us secure a few more "prospects" so we can find a few more gems and keep this fcuker rolling out cash.

You have to laugh. I read post after post on social media slagging the club off for offering £15 million for Zaha when Townsend was better and went for less, and then, when the truth comes out that we actually offered £12 million plus add ons, the same people slate the club for being cheepskates. Laughable.

They are all wankers, numpties and retarded Brexit voters who have the IQ of a raw fucking pancake mate. How the fuck they can can Townsend is 'better' I don't know because 'better' means fuck all if he doesn't fit in with the Pooch's masterplan. He might be better than Zaha at kicking a ball around, I don't know, but Zaha might have the right attitude, again I don't know but the wankerbrainretatrdfuckwits obviously do. I am seriously getting fucked off with these cunts, the arch-cunt himself was on my telly this morning standing smugly next to that nazi cunt who the septics seem to like, why the fuck with all those guns and all those loonies didn't one of them shoot those two? Then they can start on the match thread posting cunts and the wankers who steal benefits and then start spouting about democracy and their rights and the fcuking bedroom tax, oh fuck off you useless thieving cunts, you get given a house for fuck all and you are complaining that you have to pay a bit extra if you want a spare bedroom ( out of the money we give you you from our taxes you fucking parasites ) then you get on the internet ( which we pay for you cunts ) and bang on about Zaha and Townsend. One day the humans will decide we have had enough of the sub-humans and stop giving them money to buy fags, booze and internet so they can post this fucking shit.

Keeeeerching,Levy`s cash register chimes to the sum of a reported £13m for chadli from WBA,reports wolfsburg put a decent bid in for Son and Mason possibly to Hull.
Whilst when I wrote the OP i predicted all the out goings,I confess I suspected Levy would treat us to a suprise or two,now its just all out and no in`s,my faith in the cover we have isnt so strong. Is that the slow start we have made?or should I be concerned??
Anyway Poch is magic, you know.........he may well need to be

Whilst I applaud the financial management of the club by Levy as ever, especially in the process of building a new stadium, I wonder if we are starting to look a bit thin on the squad front? Chadli, Bentaleb and Mason were all in and out of the First XI last season and admittedly whilst we'll play a strong team in the CL any injuries and or fatigue (bearing in mind that the entire first XI will all be called up for international duty as well) might mean that we are reliant on the likes of Carroll, Winks, Onomah and I assume N'Koudou to plug any gaps.

The defence and GK is strong, with 4 great full backs and Wimmer plus we now have Janssen and Wanyama, but injuries/suspension etc to the likes of Dele Alli, Lamela, Eriksen are going to leave us a bit short on the creative attacking midfield front?

I'm sure Poch has a plan....doesn't he

I guess really, pritch never played,so to yedlin, bentaleb not for a season, but chadli and mason did play roles in the squad, and chadli whilst never grabbing headlines was our 2nd highest scorer in 2016 i think.
Talk now of carroll to derby, maybe winks, onomah are ready?guess we are going to find out pretty soon at this rate.
