.................................."What do you mean I`m not playing"

..............................

Win this and we top our group!!lose this and we top our group, draw this........

Yes,yes we won the group of death, however there are 4 uefa coefficient points up for grabs!!A bit by the by but we hopefully will end in the top 16,meaning possibly no groups of death, should we qualify again!.
Other than that I can think of no earthly reason given our recent form & lack of rest to not put out a full league cup 3rd round side playing Barnet.

Surely Vorm,Foyth,Llorente, sissoko know now they are in,possibly KWP,Edwards,Sterling,Georgiou,Nkoudou (remember him!).Chance to play Davies at CB?if kwp plays I would try trippier on the left and see if crosses coming inswinging to the area helps Llorente in the air.OFC we could go full on play Tangana,Brown,oakley-boothe and more kids, just depends who doesnt play saturday lamela, winks?dembele?.The trick would be to rest Jan,Dier, sanchez, eriksen, dele&Kane, but try and do that !!Maybe poch will, maybe he wont.I dont know I`m not mystic meg.

I think you left out 'Whiteman'.....from the whole 1st team squad, but that's about it?

I'm going and taking my daughter, I think we'll see a squad team featuring several that you've mentioned and 4-5 first team including Rose and Aurier and others that don't play on Saturday. Lamela also needs time on the pitch. Dier will probably captain?

I am hoping Dier gets a rest,he also played both england games.
Going to be interesting to see who is in Poch`s future plans from the academy.

Marcus birthday on Sunday. In Poch's book it states that he has 'behavioural problems' and a 'problem with authority' I don't know his background, but sounds like a difficult childhood perhaps? he's been with us since he was 8 and is ours until 2020 now, by which time we'll all know.........

Oh yes I'd overlooked that....we'll need some experience in there, cant just play 11 kids, they'll need direction.

Based on who played today, I’d guess the team will look something like this:

Vorm
Dier Sanchez Foyth
Aurier Winks Sissoko Rose
Son Eriksen/Dele?
Llorente

I’d personally start the likes of KWP, N’Koudou, etc, but I don’t see Poch doing it. I think he will start one of Dele and Eriksen but I really hope he doesn’t. I’d also like Dier to have a rest but I don’t see who can play instead of him. Davies could possibly.. but again, I don’t see Poch doing it.

I hope the 3 subs he brings on are youngsters too. It’s a shame Lamela isn’t able to play, he’d have started I’d imagine.

Need Edwards, Sterling on th bench, and others. Wembley experience CL and all that brilliant for the squad guys. Winks bossing mid field what's not to like? Llorente might even score? COYS.

Pochettino says academy players Kazaiah Sterling and Luke Amos will be involved tomorrow. "They are working very well and their behaviour is so good, and they have the quality too. With the positions we need, we need a midfielder and a striker." asked about Marcus Edwards. He said he's not at the level they want yet. Said Sterling and Amos have earned their chance. I asked about Nkoudou. He said he'll get a chance to prove himself tomorrow. Said he, like others, needed to "grow up".
Pochettino confirms Dele Alli will start. "We are going to rest some players of course, but Dele is going to play. He missed three CL games because he was banned and I think he needs to play. He's fresh to play."

No Christian Eriksen either out there, so that's Lloris, Kane, Dier and the Dane all missing out on training today.

I'm looking forward to seeing some of the Academy players. It will be interesting to watch Dele's attitude, and it's also educational in terms of Edwards not getting a game. He often only gets a game off the bench for England as well. There's more to him behind the scenes than meets the eye I think.

Not sure if this is allowed, but shoot me if it isn't. A local girl aged 13 died of a rare treatable cancer recently. There is a silent auction tomorrow in aid of her trust into Ewings Sarcoma research - a bone cancer. One of the 'lots' is a Champions League football, signed by the Spurs team. Reserve is £225.00. If you want to bid PM me.....and I'll trust you if you win. If you don't pay up I'll send @Thfcire and @Yid round.

Thanks

I’m interested to see Nkoudou get a run out in particular. It would be nice if he could win his way into Poch’s good graces, as we need some pace in the squad atm. Kane, Eriksen et al look desperately in need of a rest, so glad this ones a dead rubber.

Well should be an interesting team selection. Understand that this is a dead rubber game (bit like my ticket) but a win to start some momentum would be good here.

Not sure what Apoel will field in terms of strength, but hoping for a win, but more importantly a good performance from all on the pitch. Glad Dele is playing tonight, I do believe he's just one good performance away from everything clicking in place for him. Good that he acknowledged himself that his form hasn't been the best. It'll come good for them all....just hope we're not too far away from 4th by then.

I'll be there tonight, two Wednesday night games in a row for me.

apoel can still qualify for europa with a draw at least if you think real will beat dortmund.

Best thing i ve seen on twitter in an age was someone saying "dele says he is his own biggest critic,he obviously cant hear the guy who sits behind me at spurs"

Well I got 10 out of 11 right in my lineup prediction! I’ll take that. Happy that N’Koudou is starting! Interested to see what he can do.
He runs around very quickly all over the place being good and poor in about equal measure!! He was in good company tonight, someone else said it was a bit of a weird game and weird atmosphere, that was about right. Good goals from Son (our best player I thought) and really good from Llorente, who had an air shot later.

Oh and the Nicosia fans were noisy throughout and there were a lot of them, plus it was fucking freezing. I left after the third goal, 10 mins early, I never leave early, that's how cold it was.

That was a good performance by us. Lots of energy, quick passing and Apoel look like they wouldn't score against us in a month of Sunday's.
Same again please.
