This will be a strange game. The intensity of a London Derby comes from the crowd so will be an odd battle. They are shit at the back is their main weakness. Unfortunately Auboomerang has started scoring again which could be problematic

I expect our poor form to continue unfortunately. Would be nice to witness a shot on target though.

What is this strange thing you speak of - 'a shot on target'? Sounds like witchcraft to me.

I added a 'Shots on target' bit to the Crawl In thread, don't read it, it is really fucking annoying!

All the joy, the piss-take, playing the beautiful game better, beng in the Champions league consistently at their expense, and everything that goes with all of that, is under threat. We can win this with a decent performance, probably doesn't even have to be a great performance, but is that what we'll get? I have no fucking scooby. The players look like they don't know what they're doing and if they do they appear not to want to play for Mourinho at present, or maybe Mourinho doesn't know what he's doing. someone must know what's going on? Amazon? I mean Manchester United have kept the same team for the past 4 matches and they're probably top of the form table playing fantastic stuff with a young up and coming striker and a dynamic midfield, whereas no-one has a fucking clue who is going to start for us at the moment. God i hope we win but I seriously fear a shambolic loss.

I wonder does Levy have a get out clause in Jose's contract ? Like a 12 month probation period where he doesn't pay compensation if he sacked him ? If we get beaten on Sunday, which I fear is more a probability not a possibility, surely he has to realise the mistake he's made. ?

Mate, you have to be fair to ENIC, we did win the League Cup in 2007-08 and you can't really ask for more than that in 20 years of ownership can you? Before that, as the people who have been supporting Spurs since the club was founded when Harry Redknapp was appointed as coach, the only thing we won was the 'Smartest Haircut and Tucked in shirt' award, which was won by Scott parker in 1908. ENIC raised us up from the 4th Division where we had been since 1882, won us the only trophy we have ever won and gave the supporters the chance to pay the highest ticket prices in the World - and everybody knows that the more you pay for something, the better it is.

But surely the team who has the ball the most amount of minutes wins the match and take the glory?

Not sure I'm going to watch this, can see us getting properly stuffed.

Mixed feelings about today. One on hand, if we get beaten and play shit, it might just be the end of for Jose, and maybe the first step in turning things around...but on the other hand...its Arsenal, so I want us to win, and win well...and if so, Jose will buy himself more time so I dont know what to think......help!

You see this is the problem we had against Bournemouth. We had 64% possession. You actually need 65% for glory!

I see what your getting at here! Chelsea have been tainted by Mourinho as well. Interesting...
I would guess the stats are probably like AVBs.We have a lot of the ball,up to the final 3rd and then its like we magically think something will happen, when truth is,the other teams let you have the ball to a point because you dont scare them at all.

Midway through the second half (after a pretty energetic first half) and its so obvious that Mourinho set out to kill the game at halftime. Arsenal may well contrive to fuck up and lose this, but we've been unwatchable in the second half. Barely had a touch.

Yay! It's always fucking splendid to beat Woolwich. The difference that made to the predicted doodah moved us form nailed on 11th to a possible 6th!

I said I wouldn't but I did... and I'm happy we won.... but that 2nd half was absolute utter garbage....

I don't like watching spurs. The first half had a few moments and I didn't think I was wasting my time.... 2nd half I went to make the kids tea.

I never want to loose, I never want to loose to that bunch, but I want my spurs back and we won't get it with "that cunt" in charge.

Absolutely agree regarding Mourinho mate but there has to be significant blame on this group of players. Even if Mourinho is telling the players to be more defensively minded, he's still putting out a team that should be creating more, The players are still charged with going out there and playing football. The way Arsenal moved the ball around, the movement, the crispness of some of their passing was so superior to ours at times. In general, this group of players are playing some absolute garbage football, very few are blameless. The man in possession has so few options ahead of them, as much as i love him, some of Sonny's movement is non existent, he seems to spend a lot of the time taking positions right beside a defender, same can be said of Moura.
This football isn't isolated just to Mourinho, we were playing this shit under the latter stages of Poch, so the finger of blame has got to be largely pointed at the players, some of them simply aren't good enough. I can barely think of more than 6 or 7 players in our squad that i would want to retain for another season.
Anyway, we beat the Arse, so happy days!

On a side note, thought today was actually a decent battling performance. We’re ok when teams give us a bit of space

YEESSSS.....fuck, Good for Jose
3 POINTS..but fuck, Good for Jose
AHEAD OF ARSENAL..fuck, Good for Jose.
A win is a win......is IT ? Playing that shite?

We really do need a clear out and fresh faces brought in, but I'm nervous about Levy and Mourinho potentially making rash decisions in bringing in players to try and save themselves, but ending up crippling the club for many years. Maybe I'm overthinking it.....

Anyway we beat the scum today...

There is just no pleasing some.... im done
Of course we're pleased about the result but one match does not a summer make - or is that swallows? My problem is that this win cements Jose's position and makes it harder to get rid of the bloke. If you believe that his style of football combined with the players we have and the bargain basement players Levy will buy will lead to success next season or the season after then that's you right. Everyone can have an opinion. My opinion is that he is he's a total has-been wanker who will do a Moyes on us and keep us in the higher mid-table positions and as long as Levy can fill the stadium with Lady Gaga, NHL boxing, midget nude jelly wrestling and sell loads of crap to tourists, then he'll be happy and we will go nowhere slowly.

If you were thrilled and excited watching that game yesterday then again, you have a right to that wrong opinion.

I didn't watch the game, but happy days. When you're playing the worst football you've had for years and years, like a bunch of headless chickens and there seems no hope, it's still good enough to beat Arsenal - brilliant. At least Jose always consistently has that 1 victory in him eh? Good luck against Newcastle lads.

Mate... results while important are not for me what its all about.

Yeah I will take any win against them, but you can't say you enjoyed watching that. If you did then good luck to you but I can't be happy with what I consider zero entertainment.
