No great surprises on the list and well done Hugo, well deserved nomination.
Thought Kane would have got a shout tbh.
Well it fucking surprised me mate that Vardy and Mahrez were on the list, particularly Vardy. We all know it will be the same 3 or 4 FIFA favourites who are in the running but I think Kane at least deserved to be recognised for his achievements over the last 2 seasons.

I don't get how they always equate the 'best' footballer in the World with a striker, in recent years it has been a toss up between Messi and the orange bloke, personally I would put Toby at the top of any World's best footballers list, not Hugo because he is not the best keeper in the World, he might be the best shot stopper, but ..... oooh controversial eh? Last year we had the lowest number of goals put past us and in my opinion that huge transformation was down to Toby, the previous year we had the highest number of goals smashed past us in the top 13 of the Premiership, yep only from position 14 down did any team concede less than us, so the evidence is clear! Fact. End of. Of course it wasn't Toby alone that brought about this change, even though I said 'fact' and 'end of', but he played every single minute of the PL last season and he is a fucking superstar - Ballon D'or candidate nailed on.

Vardy - the 'best footballer in the World'? Oh do me a fucking favour eh? He had a reasonable year but that is fucking ridiculous, even Harry Kane would not stand a chance. OK, so last year Harry scored the most goals in a division where it is much harder to score bucketloads than it is where Messi and Ronni play, but Ageuro was only 1 goal behind him having played 1,000 minutes less PL football achieving an astounding 98 minutes per goal. So, love him or hate him Aguero was the best striker in the PL last season, he is of course on the list but he is not Messi or Wanky McWankface Ronaldo so he will not win.

Gareth Bale is the best player in the world right now.

But he is still playing Ronaldo's patsy which is a great shame.

I'd say Suarez has to be right in amongst the contenders. He's the glue in that front 3 at Barca making alot of things happen. Absolute beast of a player now.
