Since the thread about it being 40 years since the 81 Cup Final, apart from the fact it reminded me of how old I'm getting, but also how good that team was. But how many of that team would get into a best 11 over the last 40 years ?
I've changed this several times, and I'm still torn, but this is my shout anyway..

Fuck off, just fuck off. Jennings is a Spurs legend, he did not want to leave, he had no fucking say in it, he was forced out by Burkinshaw and the board. He has given 41 years of his life to Spurs, 14 years as a player and 27 years as a staff member working with young goalkeepers and I believe he is still doing that at 76 years old. He was told he was being sold and as a father he did not want to uproot his kids from London and move to fucking Manchester or Liverpool or some other fuck-hole so the only choice he had was to move to the scum - I repeat he did not want to leave Spurs but in those good old days players were sold without much say in it. How fucking dare you even mention his name in the same sentence as Judas?
