I really really hope that I don’t end up liking this Jose bloke. At the moment I like the football, the beating of the pokey scum and scoring 4 from 2-0 down......so it’s hard to be grumpy and another win at home against Bournemouth and then Burnley would start to feel like a proper turning point.

im taking my middle daughter to her first Spurs game so hope it’s lucky for her and the team. The way things are going I feel another 3-1 or 4-2 type game is on the cards. Time for Son to shine again this weekend. COYS.

He is doing a good job of not running his mouth,so far its working, but just one prattish comment or really shite performance and my leeway so far will end (unless its in 2 years time and we`ve shineys in the locker)....There was a video on utube of just him&the coaching staff the whole olympiakos match, they spent the whole game looking at bits of paper, shouting at players, pointing in directions,he is no bystander for sure.Perhaps thats why he goes in to cunt mode when he loses?Quite entertaining to watch, could just be because its so early he feels the players need the direction until they "get it",whatever "it" is.
I am really looking forward to bayern away and how he reacts/sets the team up,especially if they pull our pants down again.I think if he conceded 7 he would need samaritans

Guess Jose likes to stick with what he knows.A chance to see the ndombele/dier partnership,Jan at LB,get yer money on him to score!! (and not with someones missus!) Lets see if sissoko for Lucas is a good move?maybe 442 or some 3 1 4 2 or other Pin number formation.

What the fucking fuck? Sanchez goal disallowed because of an accidental handball, but we don't get the penalty because the handball was accidental!. Fuck the new handball rule and fuck VAR.

I don't think was over impressed with that first half, there were flashes of brilliance, but more periods of mediocre passing, defending and lack of urgency than I would like to see. This game is on a knife-edge, if we let them score next then we could be in trouble, if we score next then we could get 3 or 4 more.

We’ve got our Dele back and Sissoko scoring, we’re not spending half an hour pissing around passing the ball along the back 4 and the Chavs are losing, the Arse in a mess. Loving life right now!

Dele was fucking superb today....

And Sissoko scores....

What has happened?

I would imagine these late goals will be addressed.

Smiles on faces and they look well up for it.

They will face much tougher challenges than what they've faced so fat however, so they need to keep improving.

OK, but I didn't see that myself, I thought it was alla bit average, with, like I said at half-the, the occasional flash of brilliant football - a better team would have ripped us to shreds. Yes of course it's better but theres' a long way to go. Giving big credit to Jomo is way too premature.

Moussa Sissoko, he scores when he wants!

Mourinho will want to sort out the defence and I'd say he'll be already planning something in January...

You're right, a better side would have torn us to shreds, but that's what Mourinho has to work with. Our back 4 is weak, that's why Dier is his first name on the team sheet imo..In terms of giving him credit prematurely..I think he deserves some credit. He's got the players onside from the get go.. Eg: Look at the difference in Dele ? I take your point, but I do think he deserves a little pat on the back....

At least (excuse the pun) we got our mojo back.We had struggled to look threatening against some pants sides, saints, newcastle, watford, brighton, everton. We still have a lot of progress to make, but we look like we can score 4 or 5 every game so far and thats a big plus.We all expected a big buswankerdinosaurus, but we`ve got some kind of ossie/jol hybrid side.
Well its not boring and isnt that what most people feared?what does everyone want a bit more bus??

I really enjoyed it! Wobbly start but then found our feet and some of the nearly football was us at our peak, maybe just trying it a bit too soon considering the form we've been in. Most teams struggle to score, all we need to do is tighten up at the back which is normally the easy bit!

So far Dele's return to form, which we'd already begun to see a bit, has been the major factor in the run of results. He was brilliant today. I rate Dier higher than many, I think, but he's not been at his best, especially at latching on to the second ball when we press, which he used to be so good at. Just a step slow, and that's enabled teams to play out against us. But I get the feeling he'll return to form with more game time, and I was saying under Poch that he should play more. Thought Vertonghen was excellent today too.

As for Mou, for very legitimate reasons, he's going to take a long time to win people (probably including me) over, and as you suggest, the way to do it will be with results and entertaining football, as well as not being a miserable prick. He doesn't seem to have acted the prick yet. We'll see.
