We have not been that good tonight IMO... we've not done enough when we have had the ball and we have most definitely not protected the ball very well giving it away unnecessarily far too often.
They have done what they do... worked hard, got behind the ball and physically bullied our weaker players.
Look at how many times we have not crossed the ball into the box when in great crossing positions... Royal, Sess, Kulvasekisksickilyviskicsky, Son.... all guilty.

We're not a top 4 side or anything near it. We've far too many average players out there.
There's absolutely no consistency. Royal is utterly useless. Reggie's sitting on the bench...why ? He's more aggressive going forward and a better defender than Sess.
That was a well drilled Burnley side that gave everything. We played pretty triangles. Nowhere near good enough yet again. Europe league at best this season.

We play shit against teams that sit back. Can't break the lower teams down at all.
The system suits the back 3 in my opinion but the only way this system works is if your 2 wing backs are quality and sess and royal aren't.
