Can we sing the 'Spurs are on their way to Wembley' song? I'm going to even if someone says I can't. In fact I am singing it now. It won't be the same as the Lane, but at least we should all be able to get tickets, I have been getting prepared, phoning friends in London who I haven't talked to for yonks, mentioning how nice it would be to come and visit them (only if they have nice houses and en-suite guest bedrooms of course). In November I will be able to buy a senior railcard and get free prescriptions so I will be stocking up on heart medications and doing some travelling up to the smoke - the bastrad fucking feds have denied me a fucking bus pass the fucknumpties, if I lived in London I could get a Fogies Oyster card but I fucking don't do I?

Sorry, slipped a bit off topic again. I am really looking forward to Champions League football next season, I don't think I'll be able to get to anyway games as I can't get travel insurance at the moment, but Wembley is still covered by the NHS at the moment I think so I should be OK.

I will be calling it the European Cup for the entirety of our adventure next season. Thought I'd make you all aware before anyone attempts to correct me.

True, and I don't like Murdoch any more than the next bloke, but a bit like Bernie Ecclestone in F1 he has revolutionised the game, for better or worse and all the clubs have benefitted hugely from it financially. On the other side of the coin, wealthy fans that became owners like Jack Walker at Blackburn or Sir John Hall at Newcastle have now given way to foreign 'investors' from all over the world, who may have no connection with their clubs.

Is it better? I'm not sure....we attracted players like Ossie from world cup winning teams pre Sky, Gazza and Hoddle, Liverpool had Keegan etc. and United their own stars. Relatively speaking they were the superstars of the day, no different to the 'stars' these days.....the big difference now is that you can 'buy' success...as highlighted by Chelsea and Man City, and PSG or Monaco in France.

Pre Sky teams like Blackburn, Ipswich, Leeds, Everton, etc. were all in with a shout in the league title race and us, United, Chelsea, Man City all had spells in the Championship or 2nd Division. That just doesn't happen anymore...well until Leicester came along!! but you get my point.

Football clubs are increasingly becoming 'Entertainment centres'....NFL, Rock gigs, Conferences, Hotels, etc. it's a different world, got to embrace it I suppose.

Fantastic pricing set by THFC for CL home games,90,000 for all 3 group games, and works out less than £80 for the 3 game package, thats less than away at hull, wba and bournemouth!!

http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/news/champions-league-ticket-announcement-130716/
We are delighted to confirm that we shall be opening the full stadium capacity for all of our Champions League fixtures next season.

We shall be launching a Group Stage Multi-Game Ticket that will be on sale shortly. Not only will this ticket ensure your place at all three Group Stage matches, it will also secure you the same seat for these and for any subsequent matches in the campaign that you buy tickets for. We have also sought to offer favourable pricing with three-game packages ranging from £70 to £150. Concessions will be available in all areas at 50% off adult prices.

At this stage only three-game package tickets will be available, firstly to One Hotspur Season Ticket Holders from 10am on Monday, July 18 through until 5.00pm on Tuesday, August 2. One Hotspur Bronze and Lilywhite members will then be able to purchase three-game package tickets from 10.00am on Wednesday, August 3 until 5.00pm on Wednesday, August 17. Supporters will be able to purchase these package tickets in groups with up to 10 other Season Ticket holders and/or members during the appropriate sales periods. Tickets will be available to purchase online or over the phone on 0344 844 0102 (option 1).

All Season Ticket holders are advised that there will be availability in all areas during their specified sales period and that tickets can be purchased online at any point during this time. We do anticipate the early stages of this sale to be extremely busy and would ask supporters to be patient as they attempt to purchase tickets.

Individual match tickets will be available to purchase following the draw for the Group Stages that takes place on August 25, with priority given to Season Ticket holders who have not already purchased a Group Stage Multi-Game Ticket. Sale dates and pricing for these tickets will be confirmed following the Group Stage draw. We shall ensure that the appropriate number of tickets is made available on a game-by-game basis for a set period for Season Ticket holders who do not purchase a Group Stage Multi-Game Ticket, although we are unable to guarantee that seats will be available in all areas at this stage in the process.

Below: Wembley seating plan which indicates areas for package tickets

• Any Season Ticket holder that purchases a Group Stage Multi-Game Ticket will have first priority to purchase that seat for subsequent matches in this season’s UEFA competitions
• All Group Stage Multi-Game tickets will be strictly non-refundable following purchase so only supporters who plan to attend these matches regardless of date, kick off time or opponent should purchase these tickets
• Any Season Ticket holders wishing to purchase seats with Bronze and/or Lilywhite members will be able to do so but not until the members sales phase opens on August 3.

So yid and his kid could both go for £45 for each match if they buy the package, thats pretty good IMO!!

Even the top priced seat is £under 40 excluding the club wembley seats. We have 90k seats to fill,no doubt part of Levy`s cunning plan is to encourage even more memberships to be sold??

Is it worth applying as a group? I'm not sure, depending on the draw, that I can make all the home games because of work clashes but would be happy to apply and then sell/donate ticket for games I can't make....

I have Wotspur, Steve, Rev (from the other place) and Skiathos in my friends list. Would be good to get tickets together?

Just got round to renewing my membership today (long story as to why I left it so late) so I've lost all my loyalty points but managed to retain my position in the ST waiting list.... I'm looking to get the multi ticket tomorrow for CL games but has just seen that the first game week is 13/14th of September... I bloody hope the first games is away as I'll be in Greece until the 15th September. Olympiacos away on 13th September would suit me as our first game. Not sure how happy the in laws will be if I leave them and get a flight to Athens/pireaus for a game of footy but it would be right up my street!!

think us and the bubbles will both be in pot 3 so unless city, basel and another cock up the quali`s unlikely.Still quite a way off before the draw is made ATM.

Hadn't thought of that actually, ah well probably saves me from forever being the asshole boyfriend who left them all to go and watch a game. Last time we were there I pissed them off by spending all morning and most of an afternoon online trying to get those elusive Southampton at home tickets, which led to my mrs telling them about my football/Tottenham obsession, her father couldn't believe I would travel from Mancland to Yidland for the Spurs V Arsenal game, spending shitloads on tickets, trains and the mandatory beer in brickies too (and whatever other juice I was on that day). You and Boo got me out jail a little though as I was like it's fine I was going to meet someone who travelled from Skiathos for the game and another from Japan. The dude nearly had a heart attack....

Just went onto the official site, straight in for CL tickets, block 530 row 9 so not too far back. I don't know if I can make any or all the games yet, because September and October are massively busy at work, but at £80.00 for three games I'm happy and if I can't go will 'donate' my ticket to worthy causes of the fellow Yid variety.

@Liam welcome mate, great to have you here...you owe me something resembling lager in a plastic glass next time we meet!!

Talking of which it might be good to fix a meeting place for CL games....with those here and selected from the other place like Rev?

I'm sure I owe you a drink or two from the goons, I knew someone got pissed that day!!!!

A meeting place is a bloody good idea. I haven't been to Wembley since we beat Leicester in 99 when I was a kid. Fair to say it's changed a lot since then and I haven't a scooby where any of the good pubs are. The good thing about it being our "home" is all the pubs will be yids!!!
