He definitely brings a bit of energy and directness, which is very much lacking, and as Havocc says he'll be desperate to make an impact with the WC in the summer. He's a player I always admired when he was at other clubs, especially Palace. Is there a world-class midfielder in there? Probably not, but he'll definitely improve the squad.

Hes not a great passer, but he's way better than what we've got. Essentially, we traded Brennan Johnson for him, which I think is solid business. Our midfield can't be worse. Hopefully, his energy rubs off on everyone else.

Typical opportunistic signing. Got him under market value which is the only reason he’s here. Spurs never sign according to need, we only ever sign based on a P & L analysis.

Hence we are basically cannon fodder for any team worth a damn and a laughing stock in the football world.
