Hi all,

Like the tone of this place, so I thought I'd pitch in and help keep it sordid.

Long-time Spurs fan, although I don't get to see them in the flesh very often, living over here. Can't say I have a favourite player, any more than I have a favourite child, but I do have a fondness for odd sorts like Bentley, BAE, and Sandro.

Not many Spurs supporters 'round here, so I look forward to hitching my wagon to this train. At least I can't see you rolling your eyes when I start blathering on. But you lot can't hear me screaming and whooping on match days either, whilst my family huddles in the basement, debating whether to call for the men in white suits.

Sounds like your match days are a bit joseph fritz,but we all handle match days differently.We`ve been through other forums together,a lot meet at match days so it can be a bit of a closed shop clique,but really we are quite nice!!once you get through the rudeness.Dont be afraid,stand your ground and dont take any insults seriously,lots of it is semi humourous and if it isnt,who cares eh!!

Thanks, Wot. I'm in Guelph, about an hour's drive West of Toronto. Spurs Canada are well established there, but my life is such that I rarely make it in on a weekend, even though I go there every day for work.

But yes, it is much safer to behave the way I do on matchdays in the company of other maniacs. The few footie aficionados in this town are almost exclusively gooners and chavs. I've got one yid from Trinidad for backup.
