Not sure they'll get too far with this...

"It's not as straightforward as simply turning up and saying, I accuse this person of a crime". Barrister Chris Daw KC explains the difficulties Reform UK may have when attempting to bring a private prosecution against the Manchester Airport attack suspects.

I think that for a crime whoever brings the action it gets referred to the CPS who can decide to proceed or not

The file on the case was handed to the CPS in August so they should have acted by now

Oh yeah, you called the police.

What are you thoughts on my post re Reform looking to get justice?

I don’t know @Strikegold ’s opinion but I was listening to Talk radio earlier and they had Isabel Oakshott on (posh totty!) and she’s married to Richard Tice the deputy leader

She’s very clever and articulate

Her take on it is that the CPS should have acted by now as there is a prima facie case to answer and if they don’t then Reform will bring a private action

I agree with them and I remember watching the original footage in July which showed Old Bill going OTT at Manchester Airport!

But further footage revealed a sustained attack by two males on three police officers including a woman who was punched several times in the face and suffered a broken nose.
The other two officers also received hospital treatment.

So prosecute and lay the evidence before a Court

Why haven’t they?

They were quick enough to prosecute and jail rioters up and down the country so why not in this case?

I don't have an opinion on this one. I don't know enough detail .Hopefully it all comes out.The police officer seemed to go over the top kicking in the head, possibly lost control in the heat of it all.

That’s what I first thought but earlier videos showed the two males attacking the 3 police officers because they didn’t want their mother searched at an airport ffs

Of course the police were armed so a stupid thing to do and most other airports in the world they would have been shot!

If you replace the ‘X’ with ‘Twitter’ in the link it will self populate.

This country is screwed!

One culprit with 12,000 pictures got a suspended sentence because of his “good character” while another avoided jail after pleading guilty to viewing only images of children in “discernible pain” because it was “something to watch”.
