not really old spursy,we have beaten them 1-0 since time began (well recently over a few seasons),set up to just defend against a kane,eriksen,dele,son one normally pops up to win it over 90mins,we did make hard work of it,but they were lucky to get zero so shocking in attack were they.If kane had converted one of the open sitters,if the ref gave us one of the 2 or 3 stonewall penalties,if aurier had tapped in,but you are more than right we made hard going of it,but spursy nowadays means fight til the end and grab the prize!!

I thought it was going to be one of those days, we have had a few of them. Total domination of the ball, 3 penalties not given the Moose booked for - dunno, did Andros get sucked in by his gravity? Loads of sitters missed, the bus was well and truly parked, Dele hacked down almost every time he got the ball (and only one of his tumbles was a little theatrical) - but then kapow 3 points. No need for an inquest or player bashing cos we kept on with the job and got a deserved win, sometimes you have to grind out a 1-0.

Blimey mate, are you one of them football experts? Seems like a plan to me, I was guilty of yelling at the Poch to bring on Tripps, but then I like many others never bother engaging my brain when I am watching football.

I think it;s bit previous to write off the Surge, he has been a bit off lately, but he has only played 13 PL games, I'd give him at the least the rest of the season before I started saying stupid things about him.

Well thank heavens for the 3pts,didnt play well but how any fan could accept their team parking up at home like palace did is beyond me.At least Rochdale and newport (and wigan) showed its worth having a go even when you`re underdogs.They cannot be suprised when even a playing poorly quality team gets the goal to win it,oh yeah Woy,thats why Kane doesnt take corners btw.

Whilst I agree to an extent mate but if they had come out and had a go, they would’ve got battered, they had no real attacking threats available to them in midfield to really cause us any problems. So I can understand why he would park the bus and try and get a point, at the end of the day, the difference between them being relegated or not could be a point or goal difference.

With regards to Newport and Rochdale, they fully deserved their respective replays but if we’d played a full strength side like Palace played against today, you’d like to think we’d have gotten over the line relatively comfortably at the first time of asking, cups are easier to just throw caution to the wind for the minnows against the big boys, there’s nothing really to lose, there’s normally complacency from the big boys and the lower league teams raise their game, if they have a go and lose, even heavily, it doesn’t really have any effect on their seasons. Wigan defensively were absolutely brilliant and fully deserved their win because of that but the stars did align for them, think City had 80 odd % possession and were a little lucky that City didn’t have their shooting boots on and that’s I presume exactly what Woy was after, be disciplined, keep it tight and hope a chance comes your way. I’m only playing Devils advocate here mate, but from Palace’s standpoint, I can see why a team struggling for points and with half a squad of players out injured, would try and settle for a point, especially given the run they’re on.

The thing is, he clearly has the ability but is either a complete head-case, not passionate enough about being a footballer or as dumb as a rock. Three foul throws in a match probably tells you it is the latter.

He could take a look at how Ben Davies goes about it. Davies has his limitations but you can see the guy hurts when he is not playing well and has put a lot of effort into improving his game. Davies is a proper professional whereas I get the impression that Aurier is happy enough to cruise through.

I wonder if you looked carefully at all the throws ins in the Premier League, how many would technically be called foul throws but are never called by the linesman? I think he was just a bit too eager, it's not a big deal.

Luckily the mighty Poch's knees did not jerk and he, like most of us saw the funny side. Some of the bullshit being posted about Aurier is embarrassing, but that's what them cunts is like innit? Have a few bad games and you're the worst signing Spurs have ever made:

Aurier is one of those players that plays with passion. With passion sometimes comes high risk. With high risk comes high reward as when going forward (attacking) or as we saw, his goal saving tackle. He barely, just barely got a toe to the ball before the CP player went down. He also gave us the opportunity to win at the other end. The down side is that on a few occasions in previous games, those tackles didn't come off as well.

Now, would you call that reckless or passionate? I prefer the latter. I truly believe he wants to do well for the team, reward Spurs' faith in him & dispel some of the negativity that has surrounded him in the past.

Now for those throw-ins.... dunno what to say. A couple of those were so blatantly obvious they had to be called (even if it is to prevent further embarrassment because his form was worse than a 6 year old's.)

I think most of it is tongue-in-cheek though mate. Most of us like a good old fashioned vent and football is our outlet. After Aurier's opening CL game against Dortmund, I was convinced he was the greatest RB in the history of RB's and that Levy had pulled off a VDV style heist....now I am convinced that Aurier is the black (can I say that?) Alan Hutton.....until next week when he plays a blinder and all is good again.

But 3 foul throws???? Fuck me dead.
