Apparently the obligation to buy clause was directly linked to us qualifying for the Champions League next season, so that's out of the window.

We apparently now have an "option" to buy instead that's in the region of £27-£29m so of course the club (re: the cunt eternal) has supposedly tried to knock it down to £25m.

There are even some rumours that we might not even take up the option at all due to the loss of Champions League revenue.

This is, of course, from the 4th most profitable team in the world who could, apparently, spend £400m this transfer window and not even come close to FFP.

Kulu would fit Ange's system pretty well (unless he has something else in mind at Spurs),I'd of thought it's a no brainer unless his injuries have a chance of reoccurring or something.

Doherty would fit Ange's system pretty well too funny enough.

I like Kulusevski but if he just had more pace he could be brilliant. Always cuts back on his left because he just lacks that speed. He's a worker though and he's strong so Ange may fancy him. I'd buy him.

I thought he was showing a lot more in the last few games of the season after a long rotten spell. Hopefully the injury and Conte's "plan" were holding him back. Anyway, good or crap, he's ours now. Have a brilliant season, Deki!

Well worth a read

Posted the bit about the manager in the Ange thread. This is fantastic. It really is easy to forget how hard these kids--and I suspect for most of us they're all kids--have worked to get where they are.

I always wanted a bit more end product from Kulu... He's always been great on the ball, energetic, has a great attitude etc, but it was the final ball, or the shot that seemed to be missing...

It seems to be there now and he doesn't just look that 10% better that I felt was missing but 20/30% better all round.

That's even in the games where we've overall been disappointing or didn't get the result we wanted, he has stood out as one of our top performers.

I'd say he has grown to the extent he'd be one of the first names on my team sheet now, he can carry this side that extra mile to drag out a result...

If that's down to this new more forward position or something they or he worked in in close season... Great work.

I wonder if this could become something. Of course he's got every right to speak out as he's almost carried the whole side at times, but this does seem to be openly questioning Ange's approach.

Kulu is quite right!

Ange is a cunt but all you happy clappers on here don’t want to hear it!

And that's based on what exactly ? Btw, I'm not Pro Ange or Anti Ange. I'm Pro club.

We all know Levy's a cunt, cos there's over 20 years of hard evidence to back it up btw...

Honestly don't think there's much in this. Admittedly I posted some of the other things he said on the match thread, but I think it's always hard to read too much into remarks right after the game.

“Kulusevski said: 'You have to improve, you have to find ways.

'Maybe today we should maybe let them have the ball more, but you know, that's not how we play. So we went out, we gave everything. It didn't work, maybe we learn for the next time.

'You have to think about how are we physically? Who's playing? How many games have we played in the last week? Who are we playing? Have they rested for one week or something?' he added.

'You have to put everything in because it is like life. It's not just black and white. It's a lot of factors going into it.

'We have to learn because we conceded six goals. I can't sit here and say that we're doing something perfectly, we're not. We have to change a little bit for the better, always try to change for the better,' said Kulusevski.”

Good lad... Straight fucking talk, looking to protect his team mates...

I hope Ange tries to fire one up him and he bites back... Ange can learn from this too.

Like the guy even more after watching that.
What an interesting lifestyle being at the highest level.
A lot of perks but also plenty of responsibility.
Nah, who among us doesn't spend at least an hour a day in the hyperbaric chamber?

Seriously, really interesting guy. I doubt Siddhartha would've been at the top of most PL players' reading lists.

That floored me. I was watching with the sound off and figured the CC function misunderstood his Swedo-Serb accent.

I am now imagining him walking around Hotspur Way with a dog-eared paperback copy, haranguing players and staff with his favourite passages.

'Yo Lucas! All existence is suffering.' 'Yo Deki! The cause of suffering is desire.'

And so on.
