I have become comfortably numb. A short while ago chaps were posting here about how we were probably going to be in the CL next season, it seemed reasonable, almost nailed on - then I remembered which team I supported, oh yeah Spurs innit? An even shorter while ago its was 'Europe League, for sure, absolutely', now Taliban United and the other United are snapping at our heels, we need 6 points from our last 4 to be sure, that'll be easy eh? Oh yeah, Spurs.

I can't see us winning this afternoon, yeah it's defeatist, but like I said, comfortably numb. It would of course be nice to thump the Dippers, we do sometimes do well in the games we are predicted to do badly in, so fingers crossed, you never know. I am not going to even get a little bit umpty if we get mullahed because I have become comfortably numb.

Sums it up pretty well for me as well. Apparently if Villa win and if we lose (*cough*) then Villa confirm a top four finish and the Champions League.

If the Dippers fail to win then they'll be mathemetically out of the title race as well so there's that "incentive".

As long as we throw the kitchen sink against Burnley and Sheffield United then I'm honestly not that bothered about this afternoon.

Not an inspiring team selection, 5 or 6 of those underperformed against Chelsea. I would expect a reaction after that game so you never know. Throw everything at them then refresh when they get tired. Ange didn't like the passing backwards, some long shots and diagonal crosses to worry their defence might work.
I don't expect us to win so fairly relaxed.

Villa have got Palace and the Dippers to play, Palace are on a bit of a roll and the Dippers will be seething 'cos we robbed them of the chance for the title today, so that's no points for them. Meanwhile we will thump City like we normally do, struggle against Burnley and Sheffield but scare a couple of 1-0 wins and Bob will be our mum's bother. On the other hand .............

Alot to fix for Ange this summer. I can see 6/7 being shown the door and based on the last few games, I'd applaud that.

It’s just all a bit rubbish. Ange has to be given another season, most of these players just aren’t good enough to be mixing at the top table. Reckon we need 2 upgrades in the middle of the park, and potentially a whole upgrade across the front 3. Get your wallet out Daniel!
