I personally think it's no small coincidence that Dier's form has plummeted since he's essentially been turned in to the gold standard for everything that's wrong with the club at the moment. I can only hope he doesn't look at social media but if he does, i can certainly see it affecting his confidence and belief in himself.

Well to be fair I think you could argue that it's Davies, Sanchez and Dier as the three main "culprits". The feeling towards Emerson does seem to have softened somewhat.

While this is a fair point I think regardless of the criticism he should be able to rise above it, grow a pair and perform. He's an international player and his critism is justified imo. He's simply not quite good enough for what we need at the back to be successful.

He’s a RB not a RWB and Conte was wrong to force him into a ball-playing role he is ill-equipped for.

Davies is the only defender I trust.

Romero - too rash. Believes his own hype.
Dier - pathetic, not half the player he was and he wasn’t that great to begin with.
Lenglet - bog average and physically weak in the contest. Ball playing reputation is a myth.
Perisic - isn’t really a defender.
Porro - waste of money.
Tanganga - not improved as needed. Championship level player.
Sanchez - confidence shot to ribbons.

Emerson - gets a walk from me. I really rate him defensively. Played out of position by Conte.

Problem is : the squad has been pulled in so many directions this season there’s no stability. Play this way play that way swapping players around . No time to gel together. You can have the best 11 players in the world in a squad but that doesn’t mean they will gel together as a team

Can’t keep blaming managers either. A manager can tell the players what he wants them to do but if they don’t act and follow then the players need to take some of the responsibility of the outcome.
