Do what? FFS! Should I support all the Scandinavian countries that invaded Ireland and England? Or maybe France, there must be some French in there somewhere as well, definitely Irish and Welsh, plenty of that. I was born in England, I'm English even though I, like almost everybody else on the planet have ancestors from all over the place. Please don't be one of those people who go to a country and because their grandfather or great grandmother was from that neck of the woods start saying they're German, English or worse - Irish. I was in Ireland many, many years ago and met a few 'Irish' Americans, one of whom tried to start a barney with me because I was English, the enemy - and my fucking dad was a fucking Mick!

Mate, like I said before, I'd take an Irish passport right now no bother, to be sure...!!!

Watched Spain slap up Croatia from a ratty pub in Barbados (the lads here are pulling for Germany, BTW).

Couldn't really tell whether Croatia are awful, but I didn't get the impression Spain are any good. They can hold possession pretty well, but look ropey at the back and up top.

Croatia were unlucky IMO. Scoreline flattered Spain. But I disagree about Spain up top, thought they were brilliant. Just swarmed into the attacking third in possession.

I was not impressed. That Judy Bellingham chap is not the sort of chap I want to see in an England shirt, a bit cheaty and dirty. Harry Kane was playing I think, but he didn't get involved much, Saka gets right on my thrupnies, whingeing little girl, Foden equally gets on my thrupnies, I just don't like him and he was the worst of the bunch last night. England looked they were defending a commanding lead through all the second half, they were lucky that a very mediocre Serbia team did not embarrass them. They'll have to do better against Denmark on Thursday or the fans might be signing 'They're coming home' instead of that other thing.

Yep, very Southgate...

Some of the best attacking players in the world and he manages to make it look dull...

This is why I don't break my neck to watch England games...

Especially bad performance with how good ze Germans and los Spaniels looked in their first ones. But, long tournament. England almost need to concede first so they have no choice but to unleash some of that attacking talent.

I’m the same nowadays and I just happened to watch some of it while I was doing other things!

Typical Southgate performance!

Decent first quarter and a deserved goal then as dull as dishwater

He will make his first appearance on Saturday 22 June when Belgium take on Romania in the Group E clash. He will then return three days later when England take on Slovenia in their final Group C clash, the clash between Denmark and Serbia will also take place at the same time and shown on ITV4.

Postecoglou will also be part of the coverage for the Group F clashes between Georgia and Portugal and Czech Republic against Turkey.

Wish we had him over here.

Didn't get to see the second half of Croatia v Albania, but sounds like it was a fun watch

England-Denmark a classic example of a collection of good players against a good team.

Southgate rightfully getting stick imv
I think he fell into the trap of simply trying to stick his best XI out there instead of putting players in their proper positions. Still time to get it right, but he’s going to have to make some big calls.

Well he can’t start Trent again as it’s just not working

Bellingham looked good early on last game but faded and was almost anonymous tonight

Maybe picked up a slight knock?

Denmark played well and deserved their point and I was pleased with PEH getting man of the match

Maybe Mr Levy will get more for him?
