I really can't see a future for his squad, or this manager. If Conte goes then is there a better manager anywhere in the world who would work for he arch-cunts L&L? Much worse! We finished 11th in the PL, our longest winning run was 2! At this stage of the season, after 25 games we were 11th, won 7 drawn 8, lost 10, we had just 29 points and our goal difference was plus 4. We got knocked out of the Europa League in that last 16. But of course we beat the chavs in the League Cup final, Robbie and Dimitar were our joint top PL scorers on 15 each, Michael Dawson scored a goal - and so unbelievably did Gilberto. I think it was Gareth Bale's first season that he played for us in the PL, but I could be wr..... less correct than usual.

Yep, that was Bale's first season. Back when his ears were less--ahem--streamlined than today. He was injured a lot that first season IIRC. Some great performances that season (wasn't the 4-4 game with Chelsea then too, or was that under BMJ?) but also some absolute dross.
