Well, if you knew anything about football tactics, xG and linear regression, which you need to be able to enjoy football it would be obvious. Everton are known as the toffees, toffee is a delicious food - one of your 5 a day therefore Everton thread=food. It's not rocket science!
..or should I say it's not rocket salad?

How do we unbounce a thread - I keep going to this one thinking it's yesterdays thread! I am confused enough, fuck knows where my slippers are and my car keys disappeared yonks ago - it's almost as if Mrs D has hidden my keys because she want to stop me driving her car? Nah, couldn't be that.

When I was a kid my grandfather used give me another sweet connected to yesterday's opponents the Everton mint, another good reason to turn the Everton threads into foody threads.

On the telly the other night, they made Tottenham cake! I was flagger-fucking-gasted, i had never heard of it. So of course I Googlerised it:

Tottenham Cake "was originally sold by the baker Henry Chalkley, who was a Friend (or Quaker), at the price of one old penny, with smaller mis-shaped pieces sold for half an old penny." The pink colouring was derived from mulberries found growing at the Tottenham Friends burial ground.

So, now we can turn any match-day thread into a food related thread - if anyone gets all pissy and asks why we are doing it we can just quote 'Tottenham cake' and tell them to fuck off to the other place if they don't like it. OK, Henry was a bit of a cunt colouring it pink, but I will forgive him because I like his oats. When I get Mrs D to make some delicious Tottenham cake it will not be pink because we don't got no mulberries so she can leave that bit out.

Cover the pink icing with white marzipan maybe? Top it with a very dark blueberry and bingo, Dorset Tottenham cake!
