I thought this was funny - 'In order to do so certain criteria will have to be met, and there will have to be a set of draconian measures put in place to ensure social-distancing is maintained between those involved in order to keep them safe.' I suppose they could all wear hula hoops so they stayed 2 meters apart, or they could play human subuteo and all have to remain in marked out areas and wait for the ball to come to them.

They (the authorities/media) will find some way or other to ensure that Liverpool win the title, which I think may only require 2 games? All the players will be on the 'virtual' beach by the time the season restarts. As far as this season goes, we've completely fucked it up on just about every level.

Wow, so if the French, Dutch and potentially Flemish (dunno if that's correct) leagues have been ended how would teams from those nations continue with European football if UEFA decide they will continue with the competition??? I am positive that the CL will be cancelled, they simply cant continue without all the teams in a position to train/play...

Also, UEFA have said that it's down to the league to decide their season is over then to choose who qualifies for next seasons Champions league....

I just want to see piss boil......

To be fair to the Dippers..... nah, fuck that! I want the season voided, it is the only fair thing to do, there is no way they would have won the title, they were due for a slump and we would have obviously won all our remaining games.

Well I guess those few games they missed taking on the prestigious club world cup could bite them on the arse. The scenario would be much different if they had mathematically already won it,which those postponed games may well have made the difference.Still they earnt a few quid.

The Premier League has told its clubs only "approved venues" will be used, raising the possibility of matches being played at neutral grounds.

Sounds fair,we play arsenal away and at villa park at home.

Clubs could refuse... this isn't how a season works.... home and away fixtures, most points overall wins a trophy...

You could appeal by say that home advantage was or wasn't fair over the course of a season....

Stip being money grabbing cunts and void the fucking season... let people be at home with their families safe and sound for fuck sakes.

FIFA changing rules (midway in a season) to allow 5 subs per game.

Also been suggested is matches under 90mins,neutral grounds, rush goalies, jumpers for goal posts, next goal wins and games allowed to be ended early because mum has called dinner time.

Today;
5 la liga players tested positive
Dresden put entire squad in quarantine because of testing positive
Brighton have 3 players test positive

But hey lets restart football when the shitcunts are too scared to sit next to each other in parliament.

I bet all the relegation threatened teams develop a few cases. It's fucking mental really, if one player dies or his mum and dad or grandparents then that is too many for kicking a ball around to keep the bottomless money monster fed.

If Liverpool FC and Gordon Taylor think it's OK,.........then obviously I'm pretty sure it will be fine, I mean what could go wrong?

I hope the bottom 6 hold their feet to the fucking fire...

What was said was that numbers could fix this, so in theory that means there will be a point when they are paid enough to effectively forfeit their games and hand the title to the bin dipping slags.

If this goes ahead then I say fuck the Premier league and their money train.

Seems likely it'll be back 12th June, 19th June latest.

Bloody stupid idea in my opinion. Money over health. Cancel it now and start next season at the end of Sept.

Places as they are and no relegation or promotion.

League Two's season has been brought to an early conclusion following discussions between clubs and the English Football League.
After an indicative vote by the clubs, the table is set to be decided using a weighted points-per-game method, while the play-offs would be played as usual.
But any move still needs to be ratified by the EFL and Football Association.
Meanwhile, teams in League One will have to meet again on Monday after failing to come to an agreement.

☝️ so the premier league is a diferent sport???

I simply dont understand the decision to carry on with the Premie League, outside of the money.

Its ultimately bollocks.

You answered your own question - money.

I think I'm right in saying the PL is the most financially lucrative in the world, those that benefit from all that money won't let a global pandemic get in the way. Especially as one of the other big 5 European leagues (Germany) is going ahead this weekend.
