Some of us oldies will always remember Gordon Banks, World Cup hero along with names like Bobby Moore, Geoff Hurst, Jack and Bobby Charlton, Martin Peters (sadly playing for the pikeys then, but soon to become the first £200,000 player when he transferred to us),Greavsie, Sir Alf Ramsey and all the others.

England's 1966 World Cup-winning goalkeeper Gordon Banks has died aged 81.

Regarded as one of the game's greatest in his position, Banks was named Fifa goalkeeper of the year six times and earned 73 caps for England.

With spurs playing Dortmund at Wembley tonight I hope there is not only a minute silence or applause but maybe some kind of highlight reel and few moments to pay respect to a man who had many great Wembley moments.

I agree but apparently there's another minute for Sala, on behalf of UEFA.
