Gonna get training again as a 3 month sabbatical has me feeling all sorts of weird... like mentally weird... I need to fix that.

To be fair this year has been a very good year for me and my circle...

Loads of personal progress and growth, great financial decisions, promotions at work, kids doing way better than I could hope for academically and socially...

Great time away where we all connected properly and some exciting things planned or in the pipeline for next year...

I wish you and your circles all the best... unless you're a CC then you can get fucked... I don't think many of you are tbh...

• Financially? Nah, not fucked, I've got just about enough, everything's paid for and the pittance of a pension I get and the more than a pittance Mrs D gets pays the bills. I even told an ex-client that he could poke his software project up his rear end last year (politely of course, you never know eh?)
• Personal Growth? Nah, I reached the pineapple of what I could be years ago, how can you grow from perfect?
• Socially? Nah, fuck off, I don't like people.
• Kids? Fuck 'em, they're grown up, gone forever, and the cunts never send me a birthday card!

Game of 2 halves for me this year. Spent the first half unable to walk (literally) with a huge disc herniation. Managed to get surgery a week before my best mates wedding allowing me to get a suit on and be his Groomsman. Spent the rest of the year catching up for lost time!

Onto the next.... Hopefully fit and healthy!

Still an hour from midnight hereabouts, but right back at those of you who are still this side of the undying lands.

A very good, albeit exhausting, year at my manor. Kids are brilliant, aggravating, lovable shits. The missus is good. The pub pours beer and I can play footie and (ice) hockey even though it hurts the day after.

Can't ask for more, short of a proper revolution. Maybe next year for that. Let's get on it.
