Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is reportedly only two weeks away from returning to action.
According to a report in the Belfast Telegraph from Thfcire : P, Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is only two weeks away from making his return to competitive football.
Kane has been out since the middle of September, after damaging his ankle in Spurs’ match against Sunderland.
Kane has been a big miss for Spurs during his time on the sidelines, as they have struggled to replace his goals.
Although Heung-Min Son has hit the back of the net frequently, and Spurs have remained unbeaten, Kane’s absence has still been felt.
Vincent Janssen has struggled up-front, and Tottenham failed to score in their last match against Bournemouth without their main striker.
Kane’s return is close, though, as the England international forward has returned to training.
Kane is going through light jogging work at the moment, as he gets his fitness back, and he could be back in the field in two weeks’ time.
If Kane does make it back after a fortnight, he could return for the North London derby on November 6th at the Emirates Stadium.
The Belfast Telegraph also suggests that Toby Alderweireld could be back in Spurs’ squad for their match against Leicester City next weekend.
