Bottom of the league. One win, one draw since November. Already relegated. Smash them and sub tired legs to give the young’ins a 15-30 minute run out to finish them off.
No excuses.

This feels like a Burnley at Wembley sort of game, 1-0 late in the game, Son or Eriksen. Either that or we win 5-1 because we get off to a flyer.

Don't mind really, any win works, looking forward to the first game in daylight and getting home before midnight.

ps. 62,000 stadium, sold out against Huddersfield......proper support, for the new stadium, game is live on TV and it's a 12.30 kick off.

Mauricio Pochettino: "The massive risk is how we are going to approach the game. We have a lot of players who played 90 minutes [in midweek] who are not in a condition to play.

"We have a strong squad; rather than rest players we want to provide the team with good energy and fresh legs to be sure we can approach the game in the best condition and be sure we are going to get the three points."

What does that all mean?

Dont want to sound greedy, cos 3pts are all that matter, but 3 or more goals would probably be worth an extra point come May.

lol, when did we get such a strong squad? My guess is we play KWP, Sanchez, Llorente, Wanyama and Davies and rest whomever needs it most. Maybe Eriksen, Sissoko, and Son? My gosh, we need to sign some players.

Who is going to score the goals? we need Eriksen and Son for an hour surely, then rest them before next Wednesday, they've had 3 days off and in their 20's ffs!!

Surely we can smash this lot. I want to see at least 2 hatricks. Sissoko and vertonghen. If anyone else can grab one to its a bonus.

Well maybe some fringe players will want to impress, this is a massive league cup line up on first glance.Wanyama looked better when he came on vs City, but he and sissoko I hope they suprise me cos I dont see goals or creativity.Pretty tall side we have out though, maybe another header to break the deadlock,we are the best scorers of headers in the league.

Lets have a quick start eh lads, get into em early.

Why don’t we play Sonny at the start get a couple of goals then rest him, rather than the other way round?

I guess it was he or Moura to start, else the bench would have no one who could come on and impact things if needed??We are pretty short of depth right now.
