Hi folks,
I don't wish to alarm you, but some Canadians are planning a reverse takeover from the colonies.
Actually, I'm just taking the family to London for a short vacation at the end of the month.
Here's the dilemma: I had to book stuff and plan things before they released the fixtures. Just crossed my fingers and hoped the Spurs would be playing whilst we're there. I feverishly scanned the fixture list at the crack of dawn the day they were released. My wildest dreams came true--NLD on the one Saturday we'd be in town!!!
At the library, for fuck's sake!!!!!
Anyway, since I've no hope of securing tickets to one of the two matches each year I'd give up a nut for, I've got to take the boy to something good as an alternative. All I see in London on 31 August is Crystal Palace v. Aston Villa and Millwall v. Hull. The latter might be a bit tasty for the kid(s),even if we keep our COYS to ourselves. AFC Wimbledon seems a hassle transportation-wise.
Any suggestions from you lot?
