Thank fuck that garbage is over for a few months...

I've zero interest in the England team at the minute and simply view English international breaks as a way for some of our players to get a rest mid season...

Nations League... Do me a solid ffs...

I remember the days when I used to watch a game a day of whatever international tournament it was until England went out. I was clearly young and impressionable.

I was the same and followed England as fanatically as I do Spurs

Was absolutely gutted when we went out to West Germany in Mexico 1970!

There's only been, and ever will be 2 international tournaments for me. World Cup and Euros.
The Nations league is a competitive Tournament of Friendly internationals.

Or in other words, another way for Uefa to line their pockets with broadcasting deals.

Mind you, if Rep of Ireland can go up the rankings and get a better draw for the World Cup then it's a great tournament and I will completely change my tune!

I too have little interest in it other than the Big 2 that @Dave mentioned.
It seems to be an unwanted distraction to me regarding the Prem. Too many starts & stops.

Having said that & having Greek roots, I'm intrigued by the current form of the Greece NT.

They're flying in fairness. Well organised.

The internationals were more tolerable when it was a midweek game without the Saturday at 3pm League fixtures being affected.

My first game I ever went to was an England midweek game. 9 at the time, my brother went to get us beers at half time but didn't make it back, probably because the tight cunt wanted to drink my beer. A bloke near me got arrested for throwing meat from a pie trying to start a fight with other England fans.

Gary Mabbutt was in the England team in the days when he wore the 7 shirt.

Never thought I’d say this in my life, but there’s too much football. If you’re inventing a tournament to make games meaningful, it’s time to cut down on the fixture list. I actually don’t think the Nations League is that big a money draw for UEFA. I do get that it’s a big deal for some smaller nations, but the international breaks should be fewer and shorter.

You lot can slag off internationals all you want, but I know it's only because you don't have tickets to Canada v Panama tomorrey!
A lot to be excited about with Canada. You should hammer Panama.

Well well well!!! Dont know how some of you feel about that lads!!?!
Wins stuff, lots of stuff.

If he wins the WC and the Euros, then his place of birth won't be a problem at all.

Obviously I’m not from Engerland but this one will be interesting. Not so much his nationality but his inability to get along with the higher ups anywhere he’s been. It’s a very political job and he’ll have to learn to deal with that.
