The barrel chested Gary Mabbutt! Total gentleman. Started off wearing the number 7 shirt and playing in midfield (I think?) when we signed him from Bristol Rovers before moving into the CB role.
He and Sir Ledley would have to be the two players I admire the most who have worn the spurs shirt in my era, both coming over there adversities (diabetes, missing knee).
