If you have never done one then do!!I did the Greaves one which was a bit special, met 22 proper legends,ok that one cost a bit £85 for vip and a few hours in a bar with gilzean, jennngs, perryman, mabbutt, ossie, clive allen robbo, chivers, jones, burkinshaw and shreeves and on and on,just pick a victim and sit down and chat with them, lovely !!!but was one of the best nights I ve had spurs related including 84 and the finale.Anyway I will post details here when I see there are events, they are not only in London and surrounding areas, west country, ireland,up north all over.

Hope it will be of some interest and some actually do a night and get some stories to tell!!

One of my best memories truly, especially winding sir geoff up not letting him sign my book!!(only because i wanted it just to be spurs signatures, the man is a legend and flew in especially from the states to help raise money!!) The normal nights imagine will also be good and quite candid i think, chivers telling me how jimmy tapped him up for bill nic at an england game and how much he disliked terry neil!!Its a great insight into the game as it was, would love to do a ledley one.

I've done a couple in Manchester, One was with Mabbsy and the other with Clive and Paul Allen which I ended up being the compere for as Paul Coyte did a last minute cancellation. Just got ticket today for one at in Altrincham with Paul Stewart, Graham Roberts, and The General Burkinshaw.

Fair enough. I didn't know they advertised the events outside of the North West Supporters group.

What's your problem mate? Don't you like democracy? Willy of the people innit!

If 37% of the people decide that they love a few old Etonian rich toffs so much and want to see them carry on avoiding taxes on their offshore investments and to allow them to carry on operating without any pesky rules then that's democracy. If 37% of the herd decide they hate foreigners so much that they are happy to lose their jobs, ruin the future for their families, only have 'adequate' food, wait for months longer than they do now for a hospital appointment then find out there are no medicines then that's democracy. All this Project Fear stuff from experts is anti-democratic. If 37% of the people decided that on one day in 2016 that they wanted the pound to be devalued so everything cost more, they wanted to be locked into an soon to be insignificant little island with no option to go to those foreign places to work then you have to respect their decision. Democracy does not allow people to change their minds or realise that they were total and complete cunts for not voting or to open their closed little minds to the truth, so stop being undemocratic and get ready for the democratic arse-buggering that is coming in March.

Willy of the people - the 37% have spoken!

Whoops, I may have gone a bit political there, but you started it! You mentioned their 'Precious'. If you show me the button I will always press it.

Just had a quick listen to the Farage phone in, will investigate much further tomorrow. Sounds like the sort of bloke the country should be listening to rather than the bollocks spouted to the masses by the few who are only out for themselves - Johnson, Gove and the Rees-Mogg posse, it’s a disgrace, lies playing on general ignorance.

I follow him bud and he has an experience based answer for every question they pose... he is the cunt we need to listen to right now... not the other self serving cunts.

At a risk of derailing this good thread and dragging it into politics I dont know how you and I win?

The only way I can see us continuing to enjoy the lifes we have is if we very nicely ask "Europe" if they dont awfully mind us continuing to play with them on something like the same terms we currently enjoy.

I can see them shating us a little..

But no where near the no lube anal penetration with a horse cock strap on we will get under a no deal brexit.

And it will be a no deal brexit... we have couple of months to successfully negotiate thousands of deals trade treaties. Never gonna happen.

... oh this year we're off to sunny Spain. Plans are wobbly at the moment but it will either be the beginning of October or November, so about 9 more weeks max - and we ain't coming back! We've been badly bum buggered on the exchange rate but nowhere near as painfully as we will be if we stay in what will be left of the UK with no deal.

Are you actually going for good mate? Me and the Mrs are considering our options and the completely fucked Greece might be abetter option for us in a year or so. Already got a gaff paid off out there and could probably afford to get a second one in Athens too. Been offered a job in Athens which is open whenever I want it and isn't bad money, not as good as I'm on here but a lot better than most Greeks are earning but if we got one gaff being rented out and mortgage paid off on the one we live in then our outgoing will be low and earnings quite.... Throw in the good weather, good food and me having more friends in Athens than I have in Oxford, Manchester, or London then it's starting to look a good prospect.. Would also rent the gaff in Manchester out to make a few more bob on that.....

There’s a huge amount of ‘stuff’ to happen in the next 7 months, the Ireland issue, whether we can actually. Egotists trade deals with other countries when we’re still technically in the EU and a shed load of other detail. Not only did it start out as a shit vote based on lies, it’s now been progressively even more fucked up by self entitled politicians who care not for the country, and people of all walks of life, only for their own self aggrandisement. It’s disgusting, a disgrace and I find them abhorrent.

Meanwhile back at the Legends thread there's an evening with Ledley, Ossie and Graham Roberts at Watford in the new year. If I'm free that night I'm definitely going. They always put a caveat in along the lines that 'the players line up may change', which pisses me off. I mean I've got nothing against Gary Stevens, Paul Allen and David Howells but it's not the same thing right?
