6-2 in September so a repeat of that would be rather nice.

Seems weird that it's a 3pm kick-off on a Saturday as well.

You don't have to tell me that twice. My irrational festering hatred of Leicester is still going strong to this day.

Looking forward to seeing what Porro can do.

Just play for corners all game and we’ll win 5-0. They are an absolute shambles defending them.

Could’ve posted this in a Leicester forum as well I suppose.

We’ve been awful since their second goal.

Can’t we have Stellini back ?

Probably a matter of how many they’ll get now.

Dier had 5 moments to tackle there, but back off and off and off, terrible defending

(but let’s blame Conte be back,,,,)

Nobody’s doing that as far as I can tell. That was individual poor defending (and tbf class from Iheanacho).

I do blame him for putting a team out that will get overrun in the midfield because it happens over and over again. Whoever is at fault, this team is just really not that hard to play against most games. But Leicester are very fragile, this game is far from over over.

I’d also add that the ball played in behind the WBs that created the 1v1 for Dier is happening again and again—more on our right than the left—and we seem clueless on how to cut it out.

OK, just ducked over to Twitter for a moment—I stand corrected, lol.

Also, when are we going to mention the 2 goal return from our £60 million Brazilian?

So we beat City last week and get battered by Leicester today. Probably means we’ll end up beating Milan 3-0 on Tuesday.

With Skipp and Sarr are only fit midfielders, I doubt it

Quite possibly. I watched them play Sassuolo at home a week or so ago and they got humped as bad as we are right now.

If that is what Pedro Porro offers then no thanks. I probably shouldn’t criticise the guy after one outing but he was terrible, leaving poor Tanganga exposed over and over again with his mistakes.

He was terrible. But I didn’t think Perisic was any better on the left.

Watching the game, it’s just amazing how predictable we are in possession. If the opposition can get close enough to Kane to keep him from flicking it on for Son/Deki or one of the wingbacks we’ve literally got nothing going forward.

Player in Training.
Very impressed with Pedro Porto. To take almost no time to find the level of the rest of our defending is quite a feat.

Yeah, Perisic is annoying me now. I know his reputation is as a world class player and he’s certainly not a lazy footballer…but for a guy who is supposed to be so good, why is he so goddamn vanilla?

I still think there's a Conte element to the result yesterday. There were only two outfield changes from the team that beat City 1-0 in Tanganga and Porro coming in for Romero and Royal and suddenly, in 7 days, we go from a team capable of withstanding City's attacks and getting a clean sheet to a team so abjectly awful that we get battered by Leicester.

What is this Conte element? We won 2 games before his absence, plus many other games. Not sure what you are clutching at here….

Neither am I really, I suppose. Just trying to wrap my head around going from such a good performance against City to such a dogshit performance yesterday in just 7 days and, again, the manager is supposed to remain blameless.

We did win 2 games before his absence - against Fulham and Preston North End. The two before that were a 4-2 loss to City and a 2-0 loss to the Scum.

I wonder if Stellini gave them a bit more freedom against City to just play their game and then it was back to the usual micro-managing from Conte that threw them off.

I don't know. It was shit and it was against Leicester so I'm still fucked off even today.

Those making excuses are fucking pathetic...

We set a bar, we set a standard, we acutely demonstrated exactly what we are capable of last week against far superior opposition and we spectacularly failed to achieve that standard or even get anywhere near it...

There was no tiredness, no abnormally long breaks, no devastating injuries, no special defining circumstance that singled out this game as anything other than another league game... (maybe that's the problem)

I am not blaming the manager, the players, the tea lady or any other cunt... THEYRE ALL TO BLAME.

A culmination of mediocre shite.

If you can't be consistent at this level than you ain't good enough.

50/60% of that side need selling as they're simply not able to compete week in and out.

And all that, before I get onto the style of football, It's dull boring, monotonous shite...!
