Seriously... Richarlison must be livid...

Although these are so bad at the back and with 60 mins in their legs, Son could be the player to exploit them further...

Sanchez I'm not fussed if he ceases to exist from this point on.

Someone needs to take Ryan to the gym... he has been bullied to fuck today every time he has been asked to defend...

This is another shit game lads, I don't see where we've shown anything like enough to realistically compete with the big boys.

If we go on and win this it'll be papering over the cracks like I said before kick off.

We're gonna get a thumping at some point, it's 100% on the cards unless we improve all over the field.

Christmas come early. We score six and it’s against Leicester.. hah

Definitely the proverbial game of two halves. Good win though and joint top until tomorrow.

Well it's a simple game really...?

Great result, still not a great performance and against a decent side we wouldn't have been given those opportunities and been punished maybe even further.

I don't want to be negative about the game as we ultimately won Well, but I do think it's papering over the cracks.

It's 3 points, but I don't think you can take too much from it. Delighted for Sonny. Hopefully that's him back firing now. Need Bissouma Hojberg AND Bentancur in midfield. Two's simply not enough.
Like @Yid said, I don't want to be negative either, especially on a day where we win a PL game 6-2, but they had 19 shots on goal, 7 on target. If that was anyone half decent, it would've been a different story.
October 1st will tell us exactly where we are this season...

Like others Im kind of underwhelmed by the performance, especially against an absolute shower of a team in Leicester. But I celebrated Sonny’s goals as much as anything Spurs-related in a long time.

Am I too fucking cynical? Is cynical the word I am looking for? Fucked if I know, all those fucking words to remember gets right on my thrupnies. What I am trying to say is that I felt not that fucked about the result yesterday, one voice is saying 'Yay we won 6-2, fucking great', another voice is saying 'So what, we beat Leicester, a fucking pub team could beat Leicester', while another voice is saying 'you are the God of all men, the heathens who do not bow down before you must die'.

Oh well, the mysteries of the universe eh? But I have to ask if Sonny is OK. There was hardly a hint of his trademark smile yesterday even after scoring 3 goals. He's probably relieved to have started his season at last and I hope we see that smile soon.

I don’t know if Sonny was relieved he was finally off the mark but he did seem a bit off as you’d usually expect him to be grinning from ear to ear after scoring.

Jesus there’s no pleasing some people. Any other team scores 6 it’s hallelujah time, why no celebrate Sonny’s first two worldies and Bentancur’s lovely goal, rather than Sonny’s lack of smile. He seemed delighted to me, and was last off the pitch.

FFS our ‘fans’ Jeez, it was a great improvement and Tony tried rotation, subs and a different formation.

Anything else?

After the match, Son gave some really heartfelt smiles to the camera that was following him as he walked around. He was clearly in a very good mood.

It was by no means a walkover, but it was great to watch. Very pleased for Bentancur for his poacher's goal, but the highlight was seeing how much it meant to the whole team to see Sonny getting what he needed. Brilliant result, corner turned. No need for any caveats.

I was concerned about his lack of smile and did you watch that first half?

@Don Diaz - eeeek! I was in between talking to a real wanker when I posted that last thing, hope you didn't see it before I edited it. When I said 'stop being a wanker' - that was aimed at the real wanker, senile moments creep in now and again. I still think allowing 60% possession to teams like Leicester or any other team, at home is bad and the improvement you saw is nowhere near good enough for a team with title/shiney thing aspirations. Conte is only temporary so even if he becomes the best sub maker, tactician, provide entertaining football he's on his bike at the end of the season then the whole circus starts again.

I watched the whole game - I was there. You used to be a full 90 minute man - Tony saw the issues, changed it and hey presto more energy, more goals more Tottenham. Let’s hope it continues….especially against Arsenal

Yes, it really was amazing. 6-2 is a good score, and a lot of energy from the team. I think there will be some energy left against Arsenal as well :)
