How the fuck can that ref be allowed to be in charge of an under 6 game let alone a fucking world cup final. VAR got involved again, poisoning the game. Fuck VAR, fuck celebrity refs wanting to be centre stage. England were poor in the first half and robbed by the blonde bint with whistle in the 2nd half. Spain's number 18, wosserface, is a brilliant player but should have got a 2nd, 3rd and 4th yellow card.

It's been a great tournament but the refereeing was very poor overall.

Lucy Bronze did the penalty takers head... absolute quality shit housery from her... and the keeper Erps is a fucking legend... Great stops throughout the game/tournament...

Great final and best team won... Spain were on a different level and we didn't know how to stop them or counter them...

Just read up on the "behind the scenes" issues of that side and the 15 players that got left behind for what is essentially non footballing reasons...

Absolute hats off to those girls who stood up and took their chance lifting a world cup... and also to those who have taken a strong moral stance on what they believe in...

It was good, I enjoyed most of the matches I watched, I agree that Spain deserved to win today, but I am getting pissed off with bad refereeing and VAR. Watching MOTD this morning there were a few bollocks decisions - then Sir Gary said that Howard Webb ( Professional Game Match Officials Limited chief refereeing officer) had told refs not to disagree with ref's decisions! Fuck VAR, fuck it, nobody wants it, it's pony as fuck.

Having watched most of the tournament - England hadn't played anyone decent until the final.
For me, the hand ball was deliberate-it was hand to ball (she was beaten). The penalty should have been retaken as the keeper moved off her line before the kick (don't care what FIFA are saying. Bronze should have been booked for her antics on the pen-it was disgusting (the dark arts) behaviour. The ref needed to be stronger here. I agree, the Spanish were at a different level and for once (not showing misogyny here) in women's football, I saw football being played at a technically high level (this includes the keeper). England were desperate and struggled big time although another day, may have got a result.

They are very kissy, kissy here in Spain. I hate it, I am Ingerlish, we don't go in for that 'emotional' stuff. Covid was great because you didn't have to do all that stuff - yeah OK, a possibly high price to pay so I didn't have to run away from our lawyer and our tax lady, but every cloud eh?
