I am really not arsed about this game. I was so looking forward to a revitalised team coming out all guns blazing on Sunday and instead saw a bunch of blokes wandering around aimlessly followed by the manager blaming them for being lazy. Maybe I'll get more enthusiastic as the season progresses, I am not holding my breath - All For Nothing?

Clearly I am a sucker for this shit. Not 48 hours ago I was telling myself exactly what you all are, and now I'm catching myself dreaming about Sessegnon as a 10, Son up top and Tanganga anchoring a back three flanked by two kids I've never heard of.

And redemption for Delle and Ndombélé, natch.

We'll be lucky to qualify for the group stage.
That's the spirit lads!

TBH, I'm almost more interested in this one, given the prospect of seeing playing time for some youngsters and players on the margins, than I am in the Southampton game. Such is the state of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club©™. I'll watch and hopefully enjoy, assuming it's on one of the three dozen streaming services I feel like I pay for to watch football these days.

As the manager keeps saying in his pregame talks in All for Nothing:
"Fuckin' ell. They fuck us? No. We fuck them."

Yep, I will give a fuck when the players give a fuck - it works both ways.
Very true. I think we're a new manager and a player clearout away from that though unfortunately....

Giovani Lo Celso is back for the first match of our 2020/21 Europa League campaign against Lokomotiv Plovdiv on Thursday evening (5pm UK).
The midfielder missed Sunday’s Premier League encounter against Everton with a thigh injury but returns to the squad for our second qualifying round tie against the Bulgarian First League side.
It means Japhet Tanganga (thigh) is our only absentee.
“Gio is back, yes,” said Jose Mourinho. “Otherwise, no problems, no important injuries, nothing from the (Everton) game, just Serge Aurier, a little knock in training. Apart from that, Tanganga, and we know Tanganga will take a few weeks to be back, all good.”

As predicted by moi,Jose going balls deep in the cups!!

That is a really strong side. I think he'll have to sacrifice the Caribou if we win today, as the both those games would be two days and a continent apart.

Has Mourinho pulled the plug on the telly feed because it's so bad?

If the ref sends off a few more of theirs we could nick this.

Jesus, this game sounds unbearable, even by early Europa League standards. What happened that two of theirs were sent off?

Well we made that look incredibly hard work, luckily while the cameras were down someone nicked a couple of their players.

N'Dom came on and livened it up and was looking to pass forward and start things so fair play, he was even pointing a directing a bit which was great to see, we need more of that.

Onwards to the next one, hoping we can start building on this and be less shit next game.

Despite Brexit mate, the UK is still in Europe so Romania or Macedonia is not quite a continent apart - a fucking long way though!

Yay we won! Didn't se much of it because the streams kept disappearing -was NDombele's goal a cracker?

I had visions of Bale turning his jet around if we lost. Hopefully his stream was crap too.

The only thing I saw was red cards popping up on my screen. Can't honestly say that I'm sorry I missed it.
