City have won their last 15 Premier League games, the only points they have dropped so far this season was in the 1-1 draw with Everton, they have 49 points from a possible 51, they have not been beaten in their last 25 Premiership games and the last time they lost at home in the PL was in March 2016 - their only home loss of last season ( City 1 Chelsea 3 ),not bad I suppose.

Now is the time that their unstoppable run is stopped! Chelsea were on an 'unstoppable' run last year and we stopped them, we are the stoppers, we stop things that can not be stopped. A one goal win will do, a thumping would be even better, let's wipe that smug grin off of Pep's face, he gets right on my thrupnies, all that girly sulking last year when things weren't going his way and now smug as a smug thing.

This could be the game of the season, we've humiliated the best in Europe now let's duff over the best in England! COYS!

Look at the stats above.........How times have changed for the nouveau riche (I've been in France for a couple of days ha ha) money no object boys at Man City. They used to be great, back when I was a lad and had proper footballers like Joe Corrigan, Francis Lee, Colin Bell, Tony Book and Mike Summerbee. They also had an away shirt in white with a diagonal stripe, way before we made it much better a couple of seasons ago.

Anyway now they spend billions on managers and players and have finally about £4bn later struck on a winning formula. Well done. To be fair 90% of the people on here would have got there with the same resource and same amount of time. It's not rocket science is it.

What is rocket science is Poch and his young high achieving team at Spurs. We'll go and give them a game and see what happens. They would love about half of our team, well money can't buy you everything. Only Kyle Walker and maybe Danny Rose.

Good Luck lads, give them 100% Spuurs and we can all look forward to a Pep tantrum.

2-2 I reckon but hope we can win 3-2.

Looking forward to this one!!

I think City are getting a bit cocky and can see them trying to steam roll us. I'm very surprised about the way pep played Swansea. Obviously he had Walker, sane and Jesus sit out the game ready for the weekend, but Silva played a proper lung busting 90 mins and de bruyne played the majority to. They are what make city tick so I find it bizarre with such a comfortable performance he left them both on.

We could have used Sanchez back for this one I feel get the 5 at the back but I've no qualms about taking it to them and seeing what happens. Id personally set up how we did against real only with demebele instead of dier holding, with alli and winks in midfield to feed the front 3.

Anywho we can beat anyone and I expect us to beat City, even at their gaff. There will be goals so Kane needs to step up as always!

4-2 COYS.

Had to laugh at chelsea fans singing "champions of england you`ll never sing that" to a team who won their 1st title 31 years before chelsea`s 1st.But some clubs seem to think football only began after the years 2000.

We are a bit of a bogey to city, infact if one team has shit on their parade generally it has been us,they are still salty over ricky villa, let alone the battle of maine road or crouch`s winner.Lets rub some more in.

The Lord of Delicious Cake Toppings doth speak unto the hairy peasant - It's bollocks, total bollocks, fake news - nah, dunno really, in the Premier League it's bollocks cos the chavs (12) and the goons (11) have beaten them more times than us (10) at their place. In all league games including the old 1st division then fuck knows, it could be not fake news.

WHEN we win on Saturday we will go joint top at beating them home and away in the PL, so that will be nice.

Just want a performance.

I'd love to throw a spanner in the works and stop the pundits sucking their dicks for a few minutes at the weekend...

On form we have everything to win... just need that form to be pin point.

This should be exciting.

There's a great deal of anticipation even from the neutrals.

I believe we're becoming a big game team.
Poch has the team relishing the opportunity to play against the big boys.
We burst Chelsea's bubble last season.
This season, we knocked off RM 3-1, Liverpool 4 -1, & Dortmund 3-1 & 2-1.

Pep knows what we did to them last year.
We ripped them a new one 2-0 & then went to the Etihad & tied them 2-2. We took 4 points off them. If there is a club Pep is wary of, I believe it is us.

Currently, they are on a phenomenal run of good form & results.
But does coming up against us put a little doubt in Pep's mind? Enough to possibly change their approach to the game?

I guess we'll see.

Hopefully it's a daring Spurs style shootout.

We already have.....he rested key players in midweek. Before we all believe our own hype, it is likely that we will lose this away game, BUT it's a long way from a foregone conclusion, West Ham and Southampton have made them sweat recently and we won't play with 10 men behind the ball. Good luck lads, go and do them.

New docufilm celebrates history of White Hart Lane
Posted on 1 November 2017 - 10:55

We are pleased to unveil a new film to celebrate the legacy of our historic former stadium White Hart Lane.
The Lane captures the 118-year story of the stadium that rose from humble beginnings to become a London landmark.

It brings to life the exhilarating match-day experience and recalls those incredible moments in history, from the glory nights to the unique untold stories that shaped lives. It is the definitive documentary about a stadium that grew from a piece of land to become a second home to millions, from this corner of north London to the rest of the world.

This story is told using rarely seen archive of the classic moments and interviews with legends of the Lane including Cliff Jones, Pat Jennings, Glenn Hoddle, Ledley King and Ossie Ardiles. There’s unparalleled behind-the-scenes access with the current team as the record-breaking final season at White Hart Lane came to an emotional conclusion, as well as the exclusive thoughts of current stars such as Harry Kane, Hugo Lloris and manager Mauricio Pochettino.

The Lane has been produced by leading sporting production house Pitch International and will premiere exclusively in the UK on BT Sport 1 on Saturday 16 December at 9pm.

The one-hour docufilm will also be available to purchase via club channels from Monday 18 December with further details to follow, while it will also be shown around the world in Scandinavia, the Middle East and North Africa, France, Finland and Asia throughout the rest of the month.

No David Silva, that’s a big bonus for us.

We need to be alert at tracking runners, give them no space on the edge of the box and be clinical when countering, coz I doubt we’ll see much more than 35-40% of the ball.

Big game team at home mate but yet to show that away from home, yes we beat Dortmund away from but they’ve really struggled this season and aren’t the team they were a few seasons ago.

Our away form against the pl big boys is absolutely shocking. This game for me, represents a bigger challenge than when we went to Madrid. They were in a bit of a state of slumber when we went there, hadn’t really shown any real form in the league at the time, where as City are absolutely flying atm.

Well the only positive to take from that half, is we’re only 1 down!

Been an appalling performance, just when you want everyone on their game, they all look like they’ve never been on a pitch with each other. City been very comfortable, they’re an impressive outfit but we can’t pass the ball any worse than that, so reasons to be optimistic in the 2nd half. C’mon lads!

Great for 5 mins....full of energy, movement and running. Last 40 minutes not so much, we need to work doubly hard against this lot and at the moment we're not doing that, need to support each other much more.

We'll get chances though, quick kick up the arse from Poch and switch on. Come on Spurs.

Danny Rose sharpen up or ship out. We don't want half baked effort

Haven't seen the game so can't comment, just turned it on to see Citehs third so turned it off again that's enough of that! I'm guessing from some of the comments on the first half that it's a bit of the old Spurs creeping in again?

Don't mind losing, but we made that too easy for them. Can't explain it but our guys who usually really show up for the big games seemed a yard slower today.

Very disappointing against an exceptional City side.

Not been an enjoyable watch at all mate, although Eriksen’s just got a consolation...yay!

We were just not at it all mate, we struggled to get anything going, barely a single player played near their potential. The pissing around with the ball at the back drives me nuts, we were slow and laboured, which if i’m honest has been a feature for a fair few games i’ve watched this season.

To be fair, City were fantastic and it’s tough to judge us on a team that can throw 100s of millions on players and salaries but I expected a lot more from us today and we just didn’t turn up at all. Oh well Burnley next, that’ll be fun!

Yeh, I wonder if the distance we are running (bearing in mind the size of Wembley to WHL) is having an effect, still, no excuse for not turning up. Onwards and upward eh.

I don’t have an issue losing a game if we’re simply outplayed by a better team but only if we actually played to our potential and put a shift in.

Individually, none of our boys played to their potential and were almost all below par and off their game. Rose was shocking. I’m a big fan of both Dembele and Trippier but both had poor games too. Dier made too many mistakes too and Alli was quiet again.

Not sure why there was such an emphasis to try and play it out the back from goal kicks, played ourselves into trouble time and time again. The passing was pretty poor. We just never got the ball far enough up the pitch to Eriksen, Son and Kane. Too many mistakes, loose passes and unnecessary fouls.

Fair play to City though who played very very well and deserved to win. Could have easily been quite a few more. It’s the individual performances and the amount of our boys who went missing that was so disappointing.

Probably comes across that I’m being overly negative. I do know that we were up against a quality side today who are bang in form so a result was unlikely bar an incredible performance. I’m just disappointed.

On to the next!

A few things I have noticed over the past 5 weeks or so, for me, Winks is almost becoming a Ryan Mason retread, and today, if he is the midfield metronome, he needs to be making 40-50 moves to the ball over 90, in my opinion he is hiding for a portion of the game. He is also guilty of ball watching in defence, on a regular basis. Of course he's young, and our coaching staff are aware of these faults, but he needed to be yanked at 2-0, a player of similar age, Dele, is now failing to do the easy stuff, he has been awful at receiving the ball back to goal, anywhere centrally, he has to be coached to get wide, and show a ton more energy, as today his effort was mostly lacking. Eric Dier has been in a slump since the Man U game, and shows no signs of improving. I think we all like Trippier, but today he could have been subbed 1st half. Dembele can not show his strength alongside Winks, I feel the Harry Winks trial is over, time for him to be a back up, not a first choice.
