Kulusevski was amazing.

As for that Dutch chap playing at the back, some people thought he was a mediocre signing.😂
We had the sixth worst record for set piece defending last season. Vdv is young, he is not the complete CB . But he does have blistering pace which is a huge asset on the move.

Great game today.

Vic made some important saves. Brennan telling his critics to do one with his goals. Big Dom getting some tap ins. Kulu is a big boss. Bruno is a donkey. Micky is brilliant. Onwards.

Fantastic performance & a real pleasure to watch.
Really dismantled MU. The team is starting to click & I expect it will only get better going forward.

So glad we didn't sign Fernandes. He's a real petulant piece of work & always the victim.
And did you see the look of despair on those ManU fans in the stands when they went 2 down? Absolutely lovely.

If only we could finish! We got away with this because its United, but against solid mid-table teams we could struggle. Good show for Brennan, vdv, Kulu, Madds was very effective today, and Solanke a nice finish. Oh, and just lol at United!

In regards to Werner, yes he missed a couple of chances but I just feel that if he converts one of them, his confidence will soar & the team will reap the benefits.

It’s incredible to think his record for Leipzig and Germany is genuinely world class.

He’s got the worst case of the yips I can recall seeing.

It's been so long since he's been at that level, though. I hope I'm wrong, but it's hard to see it changing. He'll continue to get picked if Sonny's not available, because Ange clearly doesn't want to throw Moore in the deep end yet, and Werner does do a lot of the hard graft tracking back.

I really feel for the guy. Yeah he'll make more money this season than I will in 5 lifetimes, but nobody wants to bottle it over and over in front of millions of people.

Problem is Timo has always been the same. Score 1 in 10 chances. You just don't get that in the Prem. 2 1v1s in one game is rare and still couldn't put one away. Ran his socks off though and put in a couple of decent balls!

I agree. He always puts a shift in and that's why he's there till Sonny gets back. Ange knows he couldn't finish a sentence but he causes hassle, hooks up well and works works works.

Good piece of analysis there, but their press was slow and not very organized. No idea what Rashford was doing there, had no idea where Deki was and was just drifting toward the touchline. Plus they committed the cardinal sin of leaving space behind their midfield 2. Their back four was completely disconnected.

Brighton will be a very different challenge in terms of playing out. The space there will be in behind, like it is with us, but you have to break the lines first. Really looking forward to watching us play them, could be a brilliant game.

Yeah, curious to see how that's going to work. I'm assuming the flanks will be unavailable to us, so it will be even more important for Biss/Bent and Maddison to be available to receive the first ball. And Son to chase it down if we hit it long. This could be a hell of a match.

I hope that you’re right and you can’t fault his effort and commitment but I can’t see him as a goalscorer

I would be delighted to be proven wrong of course!

You know what, if he converts his next 12 consecutive chances, some people may be delighted ;)

If he converts a quarter of that I'll be delighted. Meaning, if we give him three chances a match, he goes on a streak.

Not gonna happen, is it?

But I think his speed is used more to get free than to beat a man. Like his counterpart on the right. Maybe there is some light ahead.

Werner’s link up play was excellent, shame he had those 3 key moments go wrong
