Ollie Gunner Wossisface's first real test as caretaker manager - and now he has to face a real team he will fail. At least we have a little bit of a breather after this game, so the chaps can thump the doodahs off of United then have a rest for a week before the short trip to Fulham.

That last game still hurts.......I forget who it was, maybe Michael Dawson's first game and he scored with a header, 3-0 up at half time, lost 3-5. Anyway that was then - Old Spurs, soft under belly, all flair, Spursy etc. choose whatever criticism you want, this now - New Spurs, Poch Spurs, United 0 - 3, Spurs, Champions League Spurs.

Get stuck into them early, keep going and use the space we will get, because they'll come to play and it should be a great game. Might even be a 3/4-2 type match. I hope Lucas has sorted his knee out, because he scored twice last time and he's had a rest. Winksy or Sissoko can keep an eye on Pogba and the full backs can fix Martial and Lingaard. Let's do them again and wipe the smile off baby face. 3-2 Tottenham, Kane, Eriksen, Son. if we win 4-2 Kane will get the other one, unless it's Moura, or Son, anyway just win, because I'm going and I didn't enjoy Wolves very much, thanks.

Only thing I'm worried about is us being a hit leggy....

We've more than enough to do them even a resurgent version.
They have been "warm weather training" in Dubai. Not sure how that helps, maybe having a rest, but being pampered in a 5* hotel, nice and cosy,I am actually glad we stayed close to reality, played in the cold, more momentum, they have to start again.

No team news but seen pics of Dier and jan training with the team.Motivation will keep our legs fresh for this one.If poch out tactics them i dont see how solsja`s experience will allow him to adapt.toby and jan always kept lukaku quiet, dog nonce wont like it up him from our lads, and really poch`s team talk should be "lads its Phil Jones".

WARM WEATHER TRAINING IS FOR SISSIES! We shall thrash them! Me, on the other hand, would greatly appreciate some warm weather training, as I am admittedly a bit soft.

I think Rashford is preferred these days to Lukaku? Need a bit of energy and commitment and we’ll be fine, had a decent break since Tuesday night and another one coming up. Is it Barcelona week next week or is that in February ? You never know Jan might be able to train this year......closest they’ll get to warm weather training, the break and change of scene will do them good if it is next week. Then watch out Fulham....

I think where it could affect united is momentum, they were on a roll,a week doing something different may interrupt that,we played at home midweek, they flew to the middle east, change of time zone, change of climate, change of results sunday with a 1st loss!!!

Spurs injury news: Eric Dier (appendicitis) – has started to join in with some team training sessions but remains unavailable. Lucas Moura (knee) – being assessed ahead of Sunday’s match. Victor Wanyama (knee) – progressing now to late stages of rehabilitation.

I had a little scare last night watching the extended highlights about 25 minutes worth, of the Old Trafford win earlier this season. United should have been 3-1 up at half time if they'd taken half of their chances. and 6-5 at the end wouldn't have been ridiculous.

Still it was very early in the season, Dembele was playing so that was nice, and we took our chances, they didn't last time. Sunday will be close, but we should win if we're nice and tight at the back - Chelsea was great practice - same back 4 please Poch. In fact probably same starting XI I would imagine, with some tactical tweaks? Good luck lads, just win.

Interesting that Poch recalled we should have been 3-0 down by half time in that Old Trafford game earlier this season. He knows this is a biggie, could define the second half of our season, certainly will have a big bearing on it.

I’d go as far as saying that if we were to win today, then United and probably Arsenal are out of the top 4 race with ourselves.

Probably the jinx of death, but Kane, son, dele, eriksen vs Jones&lindelof is about as good as you could pray for in this league.Jan&toby for us,have to feel we have too much in defence and attack to not get the result today.Provided winks and sissoko in the engine room dont get rolled over.

COYS !!

What a change! A few weeks ago we'd all be like 'Sissoko? wot the farking feck is he starting fecking Sissoko for?' Now we're all relieved he's starting. I really hope he gets his 2nd goal for us today. For bonus prize - when did Moussa score his only goal for Tottenham and who against? I had to look it up, hadn't got a scooby.

Which West Ham game was that? I can find the Huddersfield one, but he doesn't seem to have been credited with any other goals. You know my memory thingy is fucked and I can't remember anything, especially when Sissoko scored or where my fucking slippers are.

Yep, but good playing cunts eh? How did Moron-io did so badly with that team? I think a bit of a Pochy tweak at half time and we could win this. Exciting first half, should have had a penalty, shame about Sissoko but should be a good second half. COYS!

How the fuck did we lose that game? We were totally in control the whole of the 2nd half, I lost count of the on target attempts. Two reasons I reckon, Mike Dean, 2 penalties, loads of wrong decisions, no red card for Pogba, hours of time wasting - and De Gea. Gutted, but proud of the effort.
