Think all of us will always have great memories under Poch's time with us, and I loved watching us play during the 5 years he was here but... I also think he should have achieved more than he did and showed nievity on and off the pitch when it came to the business end of a league or cup..but I still loved him.

I don't know whether PSG is the right move for him tbh...He HAS to win the CL imo to be considered a success. He'll have to win the French league and probably the Cup every season anyway. I just think he won't get much out of it, regardless of what he achieves.
I'd welcome him back anytime and I think he would consider he'd have unfinished business to attend to. But nonetheless I wouldn't want anything other than success for the man...

Conspiracy Theory time:

Poch was burnt out from the ECL defeat, began suffering depression and mood swings and need a break from football. Levy employed jose as a caretaker manager to allow Poch to recover (but kept this all secret). Once Poch is ready to comeback, Jose will step aside and become director of football
Almost got it right.... Jose was a caretaker

If Poch goes to United and does well, good luck to him. He deserves a decent chance backed by the board. Will also show Levy what he missed out on, cunt.

I agree that he deserves to get the chance in the PL to stick it to Levy, but there's a part of me that hates the fact that he could be here....not there! If it wasn't for our resident cunt, he would be here.....maybe one day !?!.....I live in hope.

I really don't like this narrative from some corners of the internet that he'll be a "traitor" if he goes to United. Personally, I don't think he owes us a thing and I'd be happy for him if he got the United job.

Obviously it goes without saying I still want him to come home and finish what he started with us, but I think he'd be a good fit for United and they'll definitely back him in the transfer market as well.

I think it'll take a lot to prise him away from PSG though because he'll be desperate to be seen as a success there with the players he has at his disposal.

He has apparently committed himself to Paris... they are now looking at Sari...!!!

Good...

Hostile takeover, Levy Desposed, Club given back to the fans, huge transfer budget only reserved for the homecoming of Sir Pochetinhio of Tottenham...

To me, Poch is a rare genuine gentleman in this game. Love what he stood for & what he did for us. He not only raised our game but he also provided some credibility & likeability. What I mean by that, other team's supporters looked at us with a certain amount of envy as he's also a fair man.

I definitely wouldn't consider him a traitor for going to ManU. BUT how much success I would wish him creates a bit of a dilemma for me. If he was extremely successful, it would most likely be to the detriment of Spurs & I want Spurs to succeed.

Poch's success came when dealing with young, malleable players that he could coach. Those that had the will & capacity to play his preferred high tempo game. I'm unsure how well Poch is doing at PSG in terms of handling the more high profile players like Messi, Neymar & Mbappe that may have large egos & an unwillingness to put in the desired effort.

ManU has plenty of egos so I don't know what kind of fit that may be for him. Having said that, they may be willing to bankroll a complete overhaul for him.

As it is, we have one of the top 3 managers in the world right now. Let's hope the board gets behind him.

It must be nice to have optimism when it comes to Spurs. It literally is the hope that kills you from inside out...!

I will continue to deal in facts and what has actually happened.

Therfore to date, nothing has changed and I don't see any signs that they will.

Pessimism is my default when it comes to Spurs at the minute... and it's pretty much been that way since Sir Pochetinhio of Tottenham was toppled from his pedestal by the bald, evil, arch cunt, overlord Daniel "Balance-Sheet" Levy.

Who knows which rumour is true........they reported yesterday that Sir Poch is very interested and that PSG are talking to Zidane as Poch's replacement. Having managed at PSG I don't see Poch having too much trouble with ego's, MBappe, Neymar and Messi is quite a trio........

Personally I'd love to see him back in the Premier League and Man Utd is fine by me, I'd have a problem with a London rival or Liverpool but United is OK and I think he is close friends with Ferguson - remember that lunch they had many years ago? I'd actually love it if he was successful and gave the finger to Levy, who subsequently left and Poch returned to WHL with some backing from a new board with deep pockets, that cared about football more than balance sheets and The Summer time ball on astro turf.
