Yeah, whatever you celebrate I hope it's a good 'un.

I was going to buy Mrs D a lunch at the Michelin 3* restaurant in our local town, Denia then I looked at the price! Fucking Blimey, a thousand fucking euros for lunch with the 'wine selection'! Nah, not having that. So, I booked us 3 nights in a nice hotel in Granada including breakfast, dinner and parking, a tour of the Alhambra Palace, a visit to the Hammam Al Ándalus Turkish baths for a soak and a massage, and a tapas and wine tour of the old city - all for 80 euroquiddollars less than less than the cost of a single fucking lunch (which will pay for the petrol our car will need to get there and back, it's a hybrid doodah so it doesn't need much, it's frugal like me).

So, I'm having a merry one, cos in 2 weeks we're off to Granada, I've saved a quid and won't have to be a miserable cunt moaning about how a fucking pretentious lunch can cost a thousand fucking euros, Mrs D will, I hope be happy, she likes going to places, I'm not arsed myself, I'm happy staying at home and looking at the tourist attractions on telly, but we have to make sacrifices eh?

See I've just come back from a few days with the family over Christmas and the first thing I read is Romero's injury so that's everything gone to shit again and New Year is already fucked .. hah

Still, at least I still get to keep my New Year's Eve tradition of watching the film "Turbo Kid" for the 9th successive year. Yes, I'm that sad .. but it is brilliantly stupid and violent so there's that.

But hope everyone had a good one and got at least one random bit of Spurs tat.
