Mikey Moore is the 883rd player to be awarded a Legacy Number after he made his competitive debut for the Club in Tuesday's 2-0 Premier League defeat to Manchester City.

An Academy graduate now, the midfielder born in Southwark, London, came off the bench in the second minute of added time to replace James Maddisn at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as we fell to the Citizens in our final home outing of the 2023/24 campaign.

A regular for our Under-18s this season, Mikey has been named on the substitutes bench for each of our last four Premier League games before making his debut in the clash with City.

A key part of our Under-18 and Under-17 Premier League Cup successes last term, the midfielder is the youngest player to make a competitive appearance for our Under-21s to date after he made his debut for Wayne Burnett's side 11 months ago against Manchester United.

This term, he has been involved in a staggering 22 goals (14 goals, eight assists) in just 12 appearances in the Under-18 Premier League.

At 16 years, nine months and three days old, he is the youngest player to ever make a Premier League appearance for us, eclipsing Dane Scarlett's record of 16 years, 10 months and 14 days when he made his first appearance for us in the competition against West Bromwich Albion in February, 2021.

IN addition to the one he scored, he had a second, very nice goal that was ruled out due to teammate being offside. You could tell what it meant to him, he's had a rough start to the season there (not that he's unique in that).

Their new manager does seem to be using him a lot more and it's certainly showing.

You'd think that with some sensible forward planning we wouldn't be spending big money on a LW with Moore developing so well so of course we'll end up selling him to Rangers permanently.

From what I've seen, they've been playing him some at the 10 as well. He's still not physically mature yet, but he is a different level to most of the players up in Scotland.
