New Players needed

Hi all....... im not one to shout from the rafters ( although I have done that on the old Shelf ) but, this team is just not good enough ....
we are always bullied out of games by teams that are more physical, not better tecnically but just keep battling and pushing and fouling...
we dont have an answer to this tactic used against us... C Palace did exactly that to us...and now Ipswich... who by the way won their first games againts us.... US..... it happens all to often and the blame lays at the manager...he just does not have any other plan when we need to change the way we play... and some of the players we have got are just average, if that is what Levy wants rather than search out real young talent and pay proper money for them then he should sell up and let some other Bilionaire lead the way..... its no good having a world class Stadium and a Championship Team.

But to be fair, Aston Villa also tried to kick lumps out of us and we embarrassed them. It's the inconsistency, and if I were to point the finger at a single cause, it's that the squad isn't deep enough.

Yeah, I hear ya. But look, we wouldn't be Spurs fans if we didn't go through enormous amounts of frustration after enormous amounts of hope.
We'll get there....some day.

Personally I blame Levy. I've said it before and I'll say it again. We want top 4, we want trophies, we want to compete, yet the player we attract and end up signing is not Rice, Toney, or say, a Van dyke. We take risks in the market like Vicario, Werner and Solanke. Why ? Because Levy won't pony up. He'll continue to take a punt rather than sign the best like Liverpool did with Van Dyke or Arsenal did with Rice. We laughed at the Chavs forking out on players with 8 year contracts...we're not laughing now.
They had a proper plan and they invested and now they look a proper side. Levy has NEVER had a plan for on the pitch, just the plans for our shiny stadium.
He employed managers and paid them big money but didn't give them the tools to work with. There's no hunger here imo. It's all too fucking comfortable imo...

Just being in the Prem is enough for Levy... He may upsell on a top 10 side and the best stadium etc... but other than that it's all about growing the clubs value for a sale.
