So we beat Arsenal, throw the 2 games against City, then City go top and everyone is happy

Sounds like a plan!

I thought Cryptkeeper was the lucky thread-starter! Now we're fucked before we start.
I mean, it’s not like I was waiting for him to start the thread or anything.. *cough*

I have a new pint glass that will get its full debut for this match. Time will tell, but it has a lucky look to it.

I almost don't want to watch it. Their fans are insufferable cunts at the best of times but you know they'll be just that little bit worse this time around considering where they are in the league.

But then they're due a blip so if it was us that started it then it would be rather glorious.

I will be using one of the plastic glasses I use in the pool just in case I get a bit umpty and do someting I might later regret. This would a great game for us to win, it would be legendary, magnificent, awesome. I would definitely settle for a draw but I think it's going to be a tough watch - I want exciting attacking football but there is no way Cunte is going to allow that against the goons, it will be 89 minutes of frantic defending and one long ball up the field, mis-defended by the goons, Harry nips in and we win 1-0, sorted!

Serious cognitive dissonance here: I have a good feeling about this match, and am absolutely terrified at the thought of watching it.

I’m the same. This is the match that derails Arsenal’s season and gets us going. Feeling very positive.

Spurs 3-1.

With City losing two on the bounce, it could be a good time to play them as well. A glorious win tomorrow followed up by another one on Thursday and we're really motoring.

With Arsenal due to play United next weekend, a win for United could really throw the top 4 wide open.

I can't help but to wonder where it would leave Conte if we turn in a dogshit performance and get battered tomorrow though. Does it edge him closer to a "fuck it i'm off" scenario ?

If he can't get the players up for this like men possessed then he can fuck off as far as I'm concerned.

I have to be careful, Mrs D is in the UK for a jolly with one of her friends, I have a fridge full of beer, several bottles of wine and nobody to stop me drinking it all, and nobody to drive me to the hospital if my heart explodes. Luckily I am a master of moderation and self-control - ha fucking ha, 66 years old and I have still learned nuffink, I haven't had a good drink for years now, but today could be the day to revisit my old thirsty self. Fucking Spurs WILL kill me one day, they had a good go 7 years ago (fucking blimey was it that long?) when I had my heart thingy watching them play Palace, bastards. Oooh, I'd better not drink all that beer because the 'incident' happened in January, spooky!

The injury news is not good - Emerson is fit. Them cunts at Football London simulated the game on FIFA 23 and came up with 0-5!
Oh well. no point playing the game the if FIFA 23 says we are gonna get mullahed, even though I haven't got a scooby about what the fuck that is.

I suspect Kulu won't get the full 90 as well, but then Richarlison, ideally, would be the perfect player to bring on.
