West Ham have made an official request to reverse the dates of their Europa League third qualifying round to allow extra time to prepare the Olympic Stadium for it's first competitive match.

The London Anniversary Games is being held at the venue on 22 and 23 July - with the first leg of the European tie on July 28.

Should the request be approved, either Shakhtyor Soligorsk of Belarus or NK Domzale of Slovenia would visit London for the second leg on Thursday, 4 August.

Yeah,we did similar under AVB and Harry in the group stages,took it for granted too much and didnt progress even though we should have.Really this early qualifying can just be your pre-season,surely it can be used as such without taking liberties with 2nd 3rd XI`s ?
