Happy? Yeah of course. Even without Richarlison, Kulusevski and Bentancur we showed we can still play football. But, why the fucking fuck would Conte bring on Emerson fucking Royal when we were 4-0 up instead of Spence., so Tony's still a cunt in my book.

The observations I made while observing this match were (observe is my verb of the day):

• I observed that Oliver Skipp isn't as good as I always wanted him to be, I don't think he's a PL player..
• I also observed that Bryan Gil was without doubt our MOTM and should not be sat on the bench,
• Another observation was that I think Conte is being a cunt and showing Levy he didn't want Spence.

Other random observations:

• Hodgebodge ain't the player he was, nor is Sonny, hopefully that will change.
• Emerson is a waste of space.
• Zaha is a cheating cunt and should have been booked at least 5 times for diving.
• Harry Kane is now just 2 goals short of Greavsie's all time Spurs record!

Nice result. It was far from a good performance, better second half no doubt, but there was no phoenix moment for me.

Hugo saved our bacon... it could have been much closer than 4 - zilch. Modicum of redemption for his balls up at the weekend.

Same story in that Spurs apparently need a 45 min warm up and a bollocking off of Conté to turn up.

Palace were shite second half, especially at the back but that again raises the question about them potentially having been shite at the back, all the way through the first 45 mins...?

It's great for Kane to edge nearer that personal record, but this papers over the cracks. I'm a little perturbed that once he has got that he might just fuck off so that he can chase down the Premier league records of Shera or even go in search of those elusive trophies his career deserves.

Conte's treatment of Spence really grinds my teeth. You've made your point that you never wanted him so let the kid go somewhere else FFS. Or just don't pick him at all. Let him stay home until a move can be sorted out.

When we're 4-0 up with 5 subs available and the manager still brings on Emerson fucking Royal it's almost like Conte saying "Hey kid, just in case you still didn't get it that I never wanted you ..".

And while I'm pleased for Sonny to get a goal, let's not forget that he was shit for the vast majority of the game last night.

Well I could only watch the second half so that worked well and I thought we were brilliant. The acid test of course is the 15th January, we will then see what our cajones are made of and whether our fragile defence is exactly that - fragile, because last night even at 3 and 4 up we looked like headless chickens at the back.

Very important win and kudos to Perisic, Kane, Gil, Lloris and Sarr in particular.

Fully agree with the Emerson rather than Spence sub - makes no sense at all.

First game I’ve watched the full 90 for quite some time.

Lucky not to be 1 or 2 down at h/t, can’t for the life of me understand why it takes us so long to get going in matches. Gil was a bright spot, easily bullied off the ball though, could do with a bit of strengthening. Thought Sarr’s little cameo was very impressive, big and strong, good on the ball, would walk into my starting midfield if he has that level of consistency, although guess it was against an already beaten Palace. Harry was just brilliant in that 25 mins after h/t, he’s our creator and finisher, ran the show in that period. Sonny still looks way off it, the rest were ok.

Priorities are definitely a LCB, RWB, LWB (Perisic has done ok but he’s cracking on a bit), and a creator to sit behind the front 3, Harry showed once again how deadly he is in the box, we need someone to be constantly feeding him from wide areas and central areas, I just don’t like him dropping too deep, we lose his prowess in the box. Right that’s me done!
